Need help on pattern search

I seen on a few videos and postings of different projects that I would like to do, and some say it is a “Steve Good” plan. I would like to buy some of these plans from Steve but I can’t find many.  I purchased a thumb drive (2007-2024) from Steve and have used some. I find Steves’ plans hard to find on his site and/or thumb drive. Is there an easy way to search on his site/and or drive how to find these plans? Is it just me or am I missing something?

I wrote to Steve about this problem, but he has not replied. I do known Steve is busy and I place not fault on him as he has replied to me before.

If it is a recent listing, it should be on his page.  Just scroll down till you find it.

Steve's catalog is quite easy to search.

Go to https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/ and it upper left put in item you are looking for and you can on the narrow the search by the category.

You can change the number of items that appear on a page too.

Occasionally the patterns don't make it to the pattern catalog, but, if you do a blog search on his main page, all the patterns are there. If you know at least one of the words in the pattern title, then use parentheses to limit the search to just the patterns with that word, or words, in the title. If you subscribe to his daily e-mails you will get every pattern he posts from that day forward. 

One way to keep the patterns updated is to create a "new patterns" folder within or adjacent to the main pattern folder, transfer the new patterns from the e-mails to that folder and once a month or so transfer them, as a batch to the main jump drive.

Have you copied the jump drive to your computer? I did and use that as my "working copy" and use the jump drive as my "backup copy". On the computer you can create sub folders with names such as "patterns cut" " patterns to cut"  and so on to help you organize your thoughts and cut lists.

It sounds like a Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts pattern

If you read the post it is a AI generated. Steve then makes it scrollable from the images generated Cool.

It  is 4 layers deep.

It is now on my to do  list.

In the comments on the video, even the Pirate couldn't find the pattern. It's only available from the blog post.

Is this the pattern you are looking for???  If so it is listed as Crane23 in Steve's pattern catalog.  Steve has some different ways of categorizing his patterns.

You are right and wrong  

The file that you download is named crane2023.pdf But, if you are searching the catalogue that name comes up empty, however "crane and fish" does bring up the pattern and that's only within the last couple of days. I had searched before with just "crane" and the file was not to be found. Steve must be doing some housekeeping on the catalogue.
