Three weeks ago, I had a five hour surgery on my left foot to reconstruct it due to a condition called Charcot.  I am now non weight bearing for a total of 10 weeks on that foot.  My shop and scroll saw is downstairs with a dozen steps.  There is no way to get there.  I am really enjoying the projects all of you are posting especially those with more details about how you made them.  I desperately want to get back to.some scrolling.

This is so different having to rely on my wife for so much.  She has been an Angel.  I do get around the house with a knee Scooter.  The pain in the foot not too bad but have had to stop anti-inflammatory meds so my other parts are hurting.  The forum brings me enjoyment.  PLEASE KEEP POSTING YOUR PROJECTS!!!!!

I am posting two pictures with one showing my foot with about 13 screws and a plate.  So far, I have had a type of sturdy padded wrap but get a cast this week.

Wow, you have more screws than Ace Hdwe. I hope you heal fast with no residual pain. I've got a neuroma on my right foot that needs to be fixed but the warning of no driving for 2 mos. has kept me from doing it.

Larry, prayers and best wishes for good healing. My husband has a couple of foot X-rays that look similar to yours. He broke his heels on both feet about 3 1/2 years ago. He has about 13 screws in one foot, and 16 in the other. It can be a long road to recovery, but follow the Drs orders and give the foot time to heal and do your PT. My husband does well now and most people would never know now the damage and repair that was done. I can tell when he’s had a long day on his feet. I need to keep that shirt in mind when he ever decides to retire. ☺️

Wow painful.  I know how you feel I had ankle surgery about 15 years ago.  I was on crutches for 8 weeks, then physio for another 4.  I did a lot of reading and found lots of patterns on line.  Maybe you can teach yourself to use Ai, just a thought.  Take care of yourself and listen to your doctor and your wife.
