Tdub4ever Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Ok, went to Hobby Lobby and bought some olive green and camo material. Which background looks better, the black, the olive green or the camo? I can't decide. Any opinion will be appreciated! Quote
amazingkevin Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 You asked, you got it, I like the first one Quote
DonR Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Hi Don, I am not a fan of the Ducks or camo but I like your cutting with the black background. Don R Quote
Docupton Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 I like the camo one, just something about it seems to make the faces stand out. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Nice cuts and I really like the wood you framed them in what is it? Roly Quote

Huntter2022 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 great job I like the camo background . Happy, Happy,Happy Quote
jesse Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 I like the first one, black background look real nice, Jesse Quote
Rachael Werner Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 the black one lets your artisty show more and pops the faces right off there. however if you want more of a theme, I think the camo is really cool, (I don't watch much tv, but want to say these are the duck dynasty guys? forgive me if im wrong, I don't have cable either ) so then if your trying to tie that together and make a statement, I think the camo is the way to go. Phantom Scroller Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 oops forgot to say which one, well I'm putting the cat amongst the pigeons and saying I like all of them. Roly Quote
bobscroll Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 I like the first one and the Camo as well Don, Bob Quote
ChelCass Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 The first one is the best. It makes the faces stand out. The cameo makes the faces fade. Quote
Tdub4ever Posted September 14, 2013 Author Report Posted September 14, 2013 "Black it is". I posted this on SSWC as well and most votes were for the black. Thank you everyone for your input! Quote
danny Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 The camo takes away from showing the quality of your talent. Always the Black best lets all the cutting stand out. My 2 cents.... Danny :+} Quote
heppnerguy Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 I vote for the black also.....I agree that it helps the detail to show much clearer. Hey a really nice job cutting this piece. I also have never watched the Duck Dynasty but I rally appreciate and admire your work, Quote
keefie Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 it's gotta be the black one for me, makes it jump out at you. Quote
OutoftheWoodwork Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 Anyone who knows me, I'm always good for giving an opinion lol I'd go with the camo I think. Don't like the Olive Green. (Hunter Green would have been a second choice for me). But between the three - Camo. Quote
HoosierWood Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Awesome work. Camo goes with the Duck's and would work, but I like the black. Quote
vykus Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 all of them are workable but I like the Camo, it goes with the theme and frankly I think the back can be boring Quote
Proxprof Posted November 2, 2013 Report Posted November 2, 2013 Definitely the black background. It makes the faces coming forward. Quote
sawdust junkie Posted November 3, 2013 Report Posted November 3, 2013 I like the camo but the black is sharp too Quote
Fish Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 Nice job on those. ( My daughter loves all three ). Quote
