Ron Johnson Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Good morning Paul 'WOW'!!! ... that is fabulous. You sure have talent with a chainsaw. Now, if I tried that all there would be is one big heap of sawdust and my wife at the side splitting a gut. Quote

I wish I could do that Ron but afraid it's beyond me, I once whittled a piece of wood down to a matchstick but that's as far as it goes lol Quote
Nick@tinkers-cove Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Amazing, and totally beyond me. (I have visions of myself holding the chainsaw - revving gently, and looking at my 4mm BB ply!) Quote

heppnerguy Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Hans, Really interesting video. I guess if one is into the chainsaw carving that it doesn't seem so difficult, after while. I remember how I thought I would never be able to do intarsia and now when people see my work, who have never done it before think I am some kind of artist instead of someone who just loves to do it and took the time to find out it really is not that hard to do. same goes with scrolling. Of course there are a lot of folks out there that are so good at what they do with intarsia or scrolling that they make my mouth hang open in disbelief too. so there you go. Thanks for the link Dick heppnerguy Quote
Multifasited Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Amazing and beautiful stuff ,Definitely a northern ,hobby ,you could heat your whole house with just your mistakes ,going shopping for your material alone ,would require a small crane ,and a big truck ,sub-division studio 's problematic ,Physically beyond my abilities!
