  1. I use spray glue purchased from walmart, the durobond and elmers. I like to use baltic birch for my scrolled pieces. I have my saw elevated in the rear so it tilts towards me, and I can look down at the table. I sit while scrolling and sometimes scroll for a few hours at a time. I have a card reader I use to upload the pictures from my camera. I use paintshop pro to do my editing, just for the fact I already had that installed, I also use it to make patterns. My advise is find out which ways work best for you, and you are comfortable with, and most of all make SAWDUST.

  5. I try to keep my stacks 3/4 - 1" . I used to use a brad nail in the waste areas, now I just hot glue the stacks together. I clamp the pieces like I want them then hot glue around the edges, Just several spots along each edge is all thats needed. The glue stays great and keeps the wood from moving, and when finished I just scrape the glue off the egde and seperate the stack. I have stacks that have been glue up for over a year, and are still held tight together by the hot glue.

  14. If you can afford it get it. VS is great to have. Like has already been said, for different thickness/hardness of wood and for the delicate cuts.
  15. I am backed up on my intarsia orders, so I'm working on them. Today I had someone stop and wants a couple of the In God We Trust intarsia. He wants to give them to his Eagle scouts. And I have a few pens needing turned that are to be done tomorrow. I need more time, or more hands.
