  1. I put the fallen hero intarsia aside and started working on a project that I forgot about. It is an 1866 carbine intarsia piece. Its been started for several months, just got busy and forgot about it. I've got a couple intarsia projects cut out just need to start putting them, So I decided to get it finished before I start something new.
  2. that is excellent, lots of detail and cuts. I bet that one took a litle time.
  3. thanks Chris, I hope they(the club) like it as much as my friend did. It could mean a little more business.
  4. graduation parties and trying to get the shop cleaned up
  5. All I can say is wow. I really like your logo.
  6. I use both FD and Olsen blades depending on what I am cutting. The FD blades are definatley more aggresive and stay sharp longer. I use them the most especially when cutting the hardwoods for my intarsia. As for spirals its a NO for me, I used to use them alot, but now I just can't get them to work for me. I feel I have more control with the straight blades and can get much sharper corners.
  7. I was asked by a friend to make a pattern and cutting from a patch he wears on his jacket. The Blue Knights are a law enforcement motorcycle club. This was cut from 1/4" birch ply and is 10 x 12. I just delivered it to him tonight and he was very happy. He has a ride with the club tomorrow and couldn't wait to show them.

  17. I just finished cutting this of my parents. it is cut in 1/8" baltic birch. It is 10x12. I still need to frame and finish it. I made the pattern from a picture I took of them at my daughters graduation party. My mom hates her picture taken, so I wanted to make it count. I stack cut 3, one for my parents, myself and my sister
