  1. They look great, well done
  2. my latest intarsia. This was a Christmas order. The pattern is by Judy Roberts. It is 14" x 21" and made from Aromatic red cedar, bass wood, aspen, walnut, cherry and western red cedar. Instead of cutting the letters all the way through I routered them and painted them.
  3. I generally sell my 8 x10 portraits for $ 30 and 10 x 13 for $ 40 both framed. I always stack cut them at least 3 at a time sometimes 4 depending on the subject. I cut them in 1/8" Baltic birch. If you ask and get $50 that's great. Even at my prices I will have some say that it is to much, then a few others will say it's not enough. So it all depends on who is buying.
  4. thank you all for the comments.
  5. excellent job. My dad was in the 101. he would love that.
  6. great job. I would say 25 - 30
  7. Everything was cut on the scrollsaw. The bottom snowball is several layers and glue together. the center is three layers glued together and the head is 2 pieces. The cutting wasn't the hard part on these it was all the sanding to get the square edges knocked off to form the ball
  8. here they are with several coats of clear finish on them

  24. I have not been very active lately. After getting ready for the fair and dealing with the fair I have just been busy. Everything is starting to settle down a bit. It got hot here so after working all day in the heat I haven't really wanted to go out to the hot shop (or do a lot of nothing else  ). But starting next week I'm going to get busy out there again , got several things started that need finished. I will have some pictures to post soon I hope. It looks like I have a lot of reading and catching up to do here in the Village as well. The projects I entered into the fair did receive a couple ribbons each.
  25. Just wanted to update after the fair. I got a first place ribbon for this and a third place memorial ribbon(sponsored by a local business). Also had someone that wanted to but it. So after the fair was over it sold.
