  1. here are my latest intarsia projects. A buffalo skull and duck heads. The buffalo I used spalting cottonwood, 100 year old elm(old barn floor) walnut and oak. For the Duck heads I used poplar(2 shades dark and green) walnut, paduak, yellowheart, quarter sawn sycamore and aspen. both have just one coat of finish on them so far.

  11. Here is another cutting of a lineman. This was a request for a lineman that is leaving the job due to health issues. The frame is made with a board cut from an old telephone pole.
  12. They have 2 coats of watered down paint, 3 on some of the lighter colors. Along with 4 coats of clear spray.

  17. Just finished these four segmentations projects. They were made for friends. This is the only time I will paint wood. they are all cut from poplar and painted with watered down acrylic paint.

  24. very nice. did you have to sandwich between wood when cutting to keep the paper from tearing?
