  2. Welcome to the Village Kevin. I'm in Ohio just a lot north of you. I Have the EX 21 AND LOVE IT. I think you will be happy with yours.
  3. Welcome to the village Josh. I use a spray glue 3M or something similar. and remove with mineral spirits when finished. There is also a paper a couple pattern companies sell I think they call it scrollers tape. Its just a big label you print directly on it peel the back off and stick it to the wood. I have used it a couple times and it peeled back off pretty easy. here is a link to a couple. http://www.woodenteddybearonline.com/x/product.php?productid=4463&cat=&page=1 http://www.woodenteddybearonline.com/x/product.php?productid=7219&cat=220&page=1
  4. I sell most of mine by word of mouth. someone seeing them and telling a friend. We have an Art show(Black Swamp Arts Festival) than has all types of works / art. painting, sculptures, turnings and scroll work. I personally don't do the shows but have a couple friends that that do. One does nothing but scroll saw portraits and does very well. My advise would be to make some up and give a couple to family/friends and hopefully they will show them around and drum you up some business. If you don't sell many don't get discouraged keep trying. If nothing else they will make great gifts. Are you pricing them to high?? Or is the subject just not of interest to many?
  5. Excellent job.

  12. I have one, hardly ever wear it. I have a few "shop" tee shirts I wear that I don't care what gets on them. I only wear them in the shop not out in public.
  13. I bought some small bits from my local Ace hardware. They are long enough to drill through 3/4 stock. I also bought a micro chuck off ebay or amazon. I believe the woodenteddybear also sells them.

  24. I had the same problems with mine a year or so ago. Mine was only about 3 years old. The main bearing in the arm that connects to cam and both upper and lower arm(makes the saw go) broke. I did replace that as well as a couple other things. then the motor or variable speed thing was going out. tired of putting money into something that wouldn't work right. Got my back up saw back from a friend, while I saved enough money to buy the EX 21. S o far it was the best thing I have done getting rid of ole yeller. I hope you find something to keep you scrolling.
