  1. Thanks, @jerry1939 for the Santa Ornament pattern. My wife chose this pattern for about 12 co-workers for whom I cut a new ornament every year. God Bless! Spirithorse
  2. Very nice work, Frank! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  3. Very nice! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  4. Welcome to the forum, Jennifer. Thanks for such a nice intro. I personally think just taking time to introduce yourself like that says a lot about a person to begin with. Looking forward to your participation. God Bless! Spirithorse
  5. Beautiful work, Dick, You don't happen to recall where the collie pattern can be obtained, do you? God Bless! Spirithorse
  6. You state that it is un-opened. Shelf life is supposedly 2 to 5 years if stored properly. God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. Beautiful work, Paul! Nice to see you back on the forum and I assure you, you have been missed! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

  10. Beautiful work! I especially like the power carving you did. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  11. Hi, Dick, I didn't find man really good examples but, you can still find LAYERED scroll saw patterns that require no pilot holes and some with few interior cuts. https://woodenteddybear.com/search?type=product&q=layered I used to like these type of patterns but, it seems I was in the minority. I think the attached pic was from a project in about 2005. God Bless! Spirithorse
  12. Hi, Ike, I still use the painters tape but, since it has been pointed out that you can buy rolls of the shelf liner so cheaply, I think I will try that. I never liked the idea of having to put mineral spirits or paint thinner on projects to get the glue residue off if you don;t use painters tape or something. God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. Hi, Dan, I wanted some sheets like you are referring to for a LARGE project and the price was too prohibitive for that project but, for 6" numbers, maybe a sheet like this would be worth the price. https://www.lowes.com/pd/SANALITE-POLYETHYLENE-0-25-in-T-x-12-in-W-x-48-in-L-Off-white-Plastic-Sheet/1001463508 As you can see these are 12" wide by 48" tall but, other sizes are available. A bit expensive but, they should last forever. Menards has similar materials and I would think Home Depot or other box stores would also but, the stores advertise Polyethylene, HDPE, Polypropylene, Acrylic, polycarbonate, and who knows what all so, you would probably have to actually look at what they have in store and in what thicknesses to suit your purpose. For house numbers or something like that, these Polypropylene sheets are extremely cheap and would probably work but, up close they may not be aesthetically desirable. They are fluted or corrugated so the edge isn't smooth. https://www.menards.com/main/doors-windows-millwork/acrylic-glass-sheets/amerilux-0-158-x24-x-36-thick-fluted-polypropylene-sheets/blucrp24x36/p-1539107081946-c-7551.htm?tid=401167036542638643&ipos=1 God Bless! 18. Marg, Sorry to hear that your drill press died. I hope you pick the one out that really satisfies your requirements. God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. @Rockytime I would be extremely happy if my wife and I saw improvements in our health also. Prayers said for you and your wife and I would appreciate prayers for us. God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Good question and quite an eye opener that so many people have done this! I told my wife last year that I was in the process of doing that and she basically told me I was nuts, there was no reason to it, I wouldn't finish it anyway, and on an on. I didn't record anything about value or replacement cost but, I tried to put all the tools into a category so that if I wanted to tell someone where to find electrical, go here, Auto mechanics, this area, etc. and I can see if a particular tool is missing from it's storage area. Now that you started this thread, Rolf, I am going to photograph the items I would have to prove I had for major cost factor if they were ever destroyed or stolen. God Bless! Spirithorse
  21. Great work! Those look fantastic! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse By the way, I think Keith Fenton of Sheila Landry Designs here https://sheilalandrydesigns.com/ seems to be the designer that really made these Word in Word patterns popular so, to support the designer, you might consider getting those type patterns from that web-site. Keith Fenton and Sheila Landry list them as Scroll Saw Word Art. It will also probably be cheaper and faster because I think you can get most of them as an instant down-load with no shipping costs. Don't get me wrong, I love Wooden Teddy Bear but, I'm on a fixed income and usually try to look for the best deal. God Bless! Spirithorse
  22. Wow, that sounds like a lot o work you went to, Frank, and you did it splendidly! Too bad that isn't a typeable font just to make it easier. Anyway, as I said, you certainly used it extremely well! God Bless! Spirithorse
  23. Congratulations on a good day of sales, @John B Just out of curiosity, do the portraits of iconic stars like Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and Den Martin sell very well any more? I'm just curious. It seems there are still John Wayne fans everywhere that admire portraits of him but, not sure they will still buy very often. God Bless! Spirithorse
  24. Absolutely beautiful! I think I have sat on the fence long enough and have to order that pattern myself. God Bless! Spirithorse
  25. That's great, Ralph! Glad everything is working well for you. @amazingkevin That is especially kind of you to do so much work for a fellow forum member. May God Bless You, Buddy! God Bless! Spirithorse
