  1. They look good Kevin, they should be good sellers. I do have a small worry though, I hate to see that you use that router table without the proper insert being in place. Watch your fingers, they could get tangled up in one of those bits, take care. Len
  2. Very nice, thanks for sharing it with us. Len
  3. Outstanding! Len
  4. Wowsa, what a piece of work Dan, it's a winner in my book, but, then again I'm a sucker for anything to do about horses. Thanks for sharing this with us. Len
  5. Cute, I would have to make more than one of them if I decide to make any, we would have to have the extra ones to race against each other. I can just see it now, a thin board on his desk elevated on one end, to give us a track. We are heavily into racing, and anything with wheels gets a try. Len.

No Fish, they don't mind people cutting anything native related, as long as it's not being made to make money off of, they don't mind. Not all natives have a problem with people cutting images of their forefathers, some of them like the idea that the white man uses pics of their forefathers as decorations. Len
  7. It all looks good Kevin, I hate the fact that they didn't even thank you. Some people are so rude, they take and take and never think of giving anything back. Len
  8. That's some good looking cutting Robert, thanks for letting us have a look at it. Len

Fantastic cutting Fish, Native American portraits don't sell in this area. I thought that they might be good sellers seeing as how I'm in an area that has four reservations, but there was no interest in them at all. I've asked a couple of my Mic-Mac buddies, and they tell me that allot of natives don't like to see people selling native portraits. They said that since people had no use for the natives back then, they don't think that people should be making money off of them now. Len
  10. That's some top notch cutting Frank, it looks fantastic, thanks for sharing it with us. Len
  11. Those are some of best rust removers I've ever seen Kevin, keep on cutting. Len
  12. It looks good Dan, but personally, I don't think your pink is pink enough. Plus, I think you need a smaller drill bit, the holes that you drilled for the roses are to large, they shouldn't be so noticeable. Other than these two qualms, I think you did a great job. Len
  13. Very nice. Len
  14. It looks as if you've got everything under control, your cuttings look good. I do agree with the statement that Roly made about the nose area, but, seeing as how this is the first I can only imagine how good you'll get. Len
  15. I hate snakes! This one is enough to give me the heby-geeby's, you did a remarkable job on this. Len
  16. Bandsaw blades are rated for certain uses the same as scroll saw blades are, my advise to you would be, to purchase a blade that is rated for resawing. Yes, you may be able to get away with some other type, but, if you do so, your setting yourself up to fail. Len
  17. Marg, I always finish the cutting, and then frame it with the frame prefinished also. If you don't finish it this way, the two pieces won't be stuck together by finishing product that will act as a glue. Len
  18. Luis, it looks like your making great progress with your stand, you'll be turning in no time. Len
  19. Ike, I can't tell by looking at the picture, but, I would like to know how many layers are there in this Nativity scene? The one I made hade five layers. Len
  20. It's beautiful Ike, I've cut a couple of them very similar to this one. One, I gave to my SIL for a Christmas gift, the other one I sold. I charged $100 for it, and I could sell more at that price if I ever get around to cutting them. I have to have two more of them made for this coming Christmas, each of my daughters want one, and I think the Mrs. wants one also. Len
  21. Beautiful, thanks for sharing it with us. Len
  22. Nice, I'm very interested in seeing it when finished, are you going to cut the backer board into a border that resembles the cutting? Len
  23. Fish, I don't want to start an arguement by disagreeing with you, but, I don't think that it's a women, I think a man. Was there a title with the pattern, something other than just Native American? Len
  24. I like them, but, you'll probably get questions on what states you decided that you no longer needed. Len
  25. Glue first, then oil if you want it to stay together. Len
