  1. 2nd part? You mean to say that this review is just short of an hour, and it isn't a complete review? Holy crap, he didn't do a review this long on the EX or the Dewalt. I am interested in knowing what people think of the saw, but, seeing as how I won't be buying one, I don't think I want to watch a video that long to learn about the saw. Len
  2. Dan, could you use paint to do what you want? Len
  3. Another outstanding Schwibbogen Helmut, I must get around to using the patterns I bought from you. Seeing the ones you completed, could be the inspiration I need. Len
  4. Nicely done Jerry, I really like the Winnie The Pooh one but it looks to be very fragile. Len
  5. Looks great Dan, I would like to see the Cubs win. Len
  6. Dan, do you suppose they will win it all? Len
  7. It looks nice Todd, I'm sure she will love it. Len
  8. Thanks Dan, it's good to know about his pattern books. Len
  9. I wonder if, they are taking advantage of there being a shortage of these saws? Len
  10. Beautiful ride. Len
  11. Danny, I use two part epoxy, and I've never had an issue. Len
  12. Jerry, to protect them, I would use mineral oil. To color them, I would use food dye or colored felt tip markers. I use the markers a lot on turned items, the colors are always nice and bright. Len
  13. Todd, are they for outdoor use? If so, do you think regular poly will protect them? Anything I've ever made for exterior purposes, I coated with exterior grade clear boat finish. It's been a while since I've used it, and I can't remember the proper name for it. But, it did a super job of protecting the signs I made. Len
  14. Jerry, that's a tidy bit of cutting, the no L ornaments didn't catch on around here. Len
  15. Good idea of using the dolphins Jerry, they should be good sellers. Len
  16. Cute angel Jerry, what did you use for a backer? Len
  17. Cool trivet Jerry. Len
  18. Nicely done Todd, what did you use as a top coating to protect them from the elements? Len
  19. Cute looking ornaments Jim, they almost look cross-eyed with those wobble eyes. Len

    Shelf

John, for what I can make out, this looks to be an outstanding bit of scrolling. Your idea to make a shel,f out of this cutting, was a good one. The picture could be better though, it's hard to make out. Len
  21. Looks nice Jerry, I wonder what it would look like with a backer? Len
  22. Good luck with the sale Dan, these pieces should sell fast. Len
  23. Jerry, that's a very nice napkin holder, I like how it's made to hold the napkins in place. Len
  24. Buy a Dremel, then add the plunging router base. With the selection of collets out there, you could hold any size of drill bit. Plus, you would own a Dremel that you could use for grinding and sanding purposes. Len
  25. Dave, scrolling 5-6 hrs per day, is just to much use of the saw. The Dewalt is a good saw, but, they are not production saw. I'm surprised you didn't have problems before now, with you using the saw so much. If you keep using the saw as much as you currently are, then expect to rebuild it in the same amount of time as you had to this time. Len
