  4. Nicely done Rob, and yes Jerry is right on the ball. He has a never ending supply of helpful information, and he generously shares it with us all. Len
  5. I use a number three for cutting puzzles also, they keep the tabs from being to loose. Len
  6. Kevin, I like this, and I think it's fine where you placed the clock. Len
  7. Nicely done Pete, your wife should be pleased with these results. Len

    Spoon

Randy, you're just going to have to stop cutting up the cutlery, now this spoon will no longer hold soup. It is an unusual cutting, but it looks very nice. Len
  13. A very simple cutting, but a very nice looking one also. Len
  14. Cute cutting, how large is it? Len
  15. Dan, this is a gorgeous cutting even if pieces are missing, it would take a very keen eye to notice where the pieces are missing from. I would love to have a copy of this pattern also, I'll be keeping an eye on this posting. Len.
  16. Kevin,, now you're cutting with class, the EX's are very nice saws to use. Len
  17. Ray, I do the same as MrsN (katie),a brick or full paint can on top of the wood to hold the two pieces together. It's cheap, and it works. Len
  18. Brian, all toilet paper rolls are uniform in size, it's an industry standard. Len
  19. Okay Chris, so using Old Glory wasn't your idea, I'm sorry for blaming the idea on you. And even though it was taken from a famous photo, I still don't think it looks right to use it for The Beatles. With them being such a famous band from the U.K., I think the only flag that should be seen behind them should be the Union Jack. But that's just me, to me the American flag behind them like that, makes it look as if they're from the States. Len
  20. Nicely done Joe, and the steel wool was a great idea. You should send a picture of it with the steel wool in place to Steve, he probably would like to see it. Did you spray the steel wool to keep it from deteriorating, when I use it on a project I always spray it with hair spray. Len
  21. Roberta, you did a fantastic job cutting this one out, and the frame work is incredible. I was driving home from another city the other day, and close to home here I saw a couple of deer watching television through a person's window. I was talking to the person the next day, he says the deer are looking in his window all the time. The deer are so thick around here, they are a traffic hazard. There's at least ten of them killed per week, by being hit by cars and trucks. They run out in front of you so quickly, that you don't have a chance to stop. Len
  22. Nicely done Mimi, and I agree, it does need a backer to make the letters show up better. I would not necessarially use a black backer, what is the teams other color? I would try a few different colors, you may find one that looks better then the others. Len
  23. Theresa, I hope you can get this figured out, I am looking forward to seeing your jewelry box. Len
  24. Nicely done Don, you did a super job with all three tools needed to bring this piece together. The lathe work is outstanding as is the scroll work, and you did a perfect job with the router making the recess in the back of it for the backer. That's if you used a router, I suppose it could have been done on the lathe also. Len
  25. Nicely done Dick, maybe you should get into making these and selling them. If there's no one else in your area selling them, you might do alright with them. Len
