  1. Thanks for the tip John, I read about this one before in one of the magazines. The sign looks great, do you make them to sell? Len
  2. Danny, I just checked out the Seyco site, they have a few used Excaliber saws for sale. You should check it out yourself, you might find something to suit you there. Len
  3. Don, that's an interesting looking little dust collector, I wonder how much suction it would have. Len
  4. Nice apron John, but, the date on three of the saws is wrong. They should be in the 1800s', not the 1900s'. Len
  5. Yes Delano, from the looks of things you've been busy. Will you be painting the statue, or does it just stay as it is? Len
  6. Nicely done Helmut, it looks fantastic. Len
  7. Dan, they look fantastic, your work is impeccable. Len
  8. Nice find. Len
  9. Les, personally, I've never owned or used one, but, I have read and heard that they were not much of a saw. Len
  10. Good find and purchase Ron. Len
  11. Danny, stash the money away somewhere and save it until your saw breaks or wears out. Hopefully, by then you may have saved enough to buy a new good brand of saw. You wouldn't be without a saw very long, nowadays it takes very little time to have somsthing shipped to your door. By waiting, you will always have the money in case of a real emergency. Len
  12. Jerry, we all have our personel favorites, they may not be of any use to you. I think that you should do a bit of trial and error, buy some Olson blades to try out. I use the FD brand of blades, I used to use Olson's but switched after trying out the FD blades for the first time. I was so impressed with the FD blades, that I made an arrangement with Mike to sell them. They were good sellers, and I would liked to have kept selling them, but, due to personal reasons I had to quit. Len
  13. Looking good, or, good looking, take your choice. Len
  14. Nicely done Kevin, generally, how long does a saw last you? Len
  15. Very nice. Len
  16. Brillant build Ed, welcome to the Village. Len
  17. Bobby, that's a great use of scraps. Len
  18. Bob, if you polish/wax your table top, I think you'll find that what your working on will swivel even a bit easier. Len
  19. I got the e-mail about, just haven't purchased it yet. Len
  20. Paul, I just checked out your very impressive Photo Bucket album, I'm wondering where you got a couple of the patterns from. The ones I'm interested in, is the Nativity one and the fretwork sled. Do you recall where you got them from, if so, could you please let me know so that I could possibly get a copy? Thanks. Len
  21. Beautifully done Paul, Lonesome Dove was a favorite of mine as well. Len
  22. Dick, it's always nice when fellow scrollers can get together, it's a great chance to pick eack others brain for ideas. Len
