  1. Looks good Randy, I do see what your saying about using a smaller sized drill though. Len
  2. I used to carry liability insurance when I was into selling my work, it didn't cost much at the time. Some places require it, other places cover you with their insurance. Len
  3. Dave, that's a good looking set-up. Are the tables yours, or, were they supplied? Len
  4. Nicely done Marg, that's some delicate cutting. Len
  5. Wow Jerry, this is an outstanding cutting, you did well. Len
  6. Dave, it's easy to see why they would be such good sellers, they all look great. Len
  7. I do the exact opposite, I have to leave my pattern to dry for 10-15 seconds before applying the pattern to the wood. I've never had an issue with the pattern lifting while cutting, maybe you weren't using enough of it. I buy mine at Wal-Mart, the last can that I bought I paid $5.77 for it. I usually buy what's on the shelf, they only keep six cans of it on display. I've tried the 3M 77, and I didn't like how hard the pattern stuck to the wood. Len
  8. I doubt that it can, you can't do a lot of upgrades to these old saws. Len
  9. Good luck with it Tony, it should be a nice working saw. I just did a vibration test on my EX21, both coins stayed standing even at top speed. Len
  10. Dave, I don't own a Dewalt, but I think you should check the linkage from one end to the other. Len
  11. Outstanding cutting. Len
  12. Hang in there Kevin, things are bound to get better. Len
  13. Very nice Kip, what's it like to cut tagua nuts? How fragile are the slices, and what type of blade do you use to cut them with? Len
  14. It's a keeper Denny, I love how it looks. Len
  15. Nicely done Kevin, did you use a real dollar or one printed off of your computer? Len
  16. Very nice. Len
  17. TerryLee, your work is impeccable. At $150.00 whoever buys it, is still getting a deal. I like both eagle pieces that you've put together here, but, I love that little dog piece, it's beautiful! Len
  18. Hopefully, he'll buy both of them, and still tip you. Len
  19. Cliff, be careful with whatever you use for a heat source, you don't don't want to misshape things. Use just enough heat to allow you to pull the first section of the air tube off, don't use enough heat to melt the plastic. Len
  20. Nicely done Kip, they should be easy sellers. I've been thinking of buying a few of those nuts, I want them for decorating my turned pens with. Len
  21. Looking good Edward, have you ever tried painting the cages silver color to look more like metal? Len
  22. Very nice, the painted horse looks great, and the birdfeeder is outstanding. Do you make these to sell, or, are they for self use? Len
  23. You have a great selection to pick from, and all of your work looks fantastic. There's no wonder that you did as well as you did, everything is top shelf material. I think that you could have done better, if you would lower your prices a bit. I don't know anything about the area you sell in, but, around here I would never be able to charge as much as your asking. And I'm not considered to be cheap, I price my items at what I figure the market will bear. For example, that candle holder that you have priced at $30.00, would sell for $10.00 around here. And the key hanger, that would be worth about $7.00, do others price their work the same as you? More power to you if you can demand those prices, it's gotta be nice. Len
  24. I use FD blades, and I leave them in the plastic bags they come in. There's no confusion on what type or size that they are, because of the label that comes with them. Len
  25. It could be either, blue stained pine, or, stained and spalded poplar. What does it smell like before being stained or painted? Len
