  1. Dave, I'm amazed at the results you get with your inlay work it's always a pleasure to view it. Steve Good would be impressed with your work, have you ever sent him a picture of what you do? Len
  2. I agree Bobby, you had a busy week. Your work is impecible, who is the subject of the third piece? Len
  3. I don't know where you're getting your BB plywood, I've yet to see a void in BB plywood and I've used a lot of it over the years. I have seen #2 BB with small voids or poor patchwork, but, I never buy #2 grade. There is different grades, are you sure your getting #1 grade 2fs? Len
  4. Dave, your a machine. Len
  5. Nice cross Jerry, I've never seen this pattern before now. Please don't let the name of this section cause you not to post your work, you'll be robbing us all a chance to admire your work. Personally, I'd rather be a braggart than a robber. Len
  6. Very nice! Len
  7. Kevin, it's a beautiful cutting, if your not pleased with this piece, you'll never be happy. Len
  8. Edward, you've been busy, this clock looks great. Len
  9. Edward, they look like they will be good sellers, I think you did a fine job. The stand your wife got you looks great, I'll have to look into getting something similar. Len
  10. Very impressive. Len
  11. Ike, all I use is Elmer's spray adhesive, it's all I've used for years. I buy it at Wal-mart, and I've never had an issue with. Personally, I like it better than the 3M brand. Len
  12. If you got it for a good price, you got a good deal and there's no sense in worrying about it. Len
  13. Matt, a piece of baltic birch plywood would look good as a backer, for this piece. I look forward to seeing what you ended up with, it shoud look amazing. Len
  14. I agree, it looks fine as is, I disagree with it not needing a finish though. Personally, I think that anything that doesn't have some sort of finish on it, doesn't look finished. Len
  15. Nicely done Pete, I really like the live edge. Len
  16. Kevin, what have we all been telling you? Slow down, rather than rush cutting this piece, and ruining it. I'm sure you could have waited until his next trip, to give him the cutting. Len
  17. Way to go Tony, with results like this, hopefully, you'll soon get another burst of energy. Len
  18. Nicely done Rob, the color of the wood is perfect for this type of cutting. Len
  19. I love it, it's a gorgeous cutting. Then again, German Shepards are one of my favorite bred of dogs. Len
  20. Thanks John, your a good man for doing this, I'm sure it'll be very helpful to other eclipse. Len
  21. I use blo, but, I use it more for it's ability to pop the grain, but, not as a finish. After I apply one or two coats of blo, I let it dry for a week or so before applying a top coat. To me, blo is more of a wood conditioner. I usually use lacquer for my top coat, I like how it dries so fast.
  22. Nathan, you did a good job bringing this all together, I think your client will be more than satisfied. Len
  23. Nicely done Rob, hopefully, you'll have a very successful weekend. Len
  24. Kevin, slow to hell down, and be more cautious!!! You lucked out this time, next time you may not be so fortunate. Len
