  1. One down, only 99 more to go, hang in there Kevin. Len
  2. Way to go Iggy, hopefully you keep doing well there. Len
  3. Sheila, thanks for the tip, when I need a zero clearance backer I use a playing card. On my previous saw, I had a plexi-glass backer that I used. Len
  4. Enjoy your search. Len
  5. Paul, that's too cool. Len
  6. Terrylee, all three pieces look great, your a master at bringing these together. They look like they would be enjoyable to do, all except for the base on the deer cutting. There's just to many small pieces, I would be forever picking them up. Len
  7. Nicely done Dan, you did a great job cutting all of those letters. Len

    Handy Tips

Travis, thanks for the tips. Len
  9. Larry, I've never heard of it in a spray can form, the only type that I'm aware of, is the wipe on type. Len
  10. Nicely done Roly, the S doesn't look bad, I don't think many people will notice it. Len
  11. Wowsa Rick, that's a stunner. The only issue I have with it, is that there's not enough pictures of it. Len
  12. Ha ha, good one Dave. Len
  13. Too cute. Len
  14. Nicely done Todd, that's a pretty popular Newfie name. Len
  15. Danny, Dremel tools have they're place in the workshop, but, I don't think they should be relied on to be an all purpose router. I own one, and I use it on a regular basis, but, I only use it on thin stock. It is easy to ruin a router bit with these tools, they only have a 1/8" shank. If your looking for a router that will do most jobs, I would recommend the Dewalt 611 series. Len
  16. Kevin, what size hole did you drill, maybe you could make custom perches? I know it would be more work, but, it would help finish them up. Len
  17. Nicely done Denny, they all look fantastic. They are good sellers, and people don't only use them for Christmas decorations. I have a customer who has one hanging on each of her window blinds. Len
  18. Bobby, with results like these, I'd be tempted to do more stirring up the sawdust. Len
  19. Nicely done Don, I like it. Len
  20. Outstanding, and very unique. Len
  21. Edward, any skiptooth blade should work fine, two-way cut blades work well for this type of cutting also. Try a few different types of blades, you'll soon settle on the one that works best for you. Len
  22. John, that's heartbreaking news, I feel so sorry for you and your family. I know to well what your going through, I went through the same thing a few months ago with my little guy. Give him lots of love while you still can, your going to miss him like crazy. Take care. Len
  23. Kevin, your a machine, you gotta be to get this many cut in such a short amount of time. You don't need to buy dowel stock for the perches, all you need is a box of round toothpicks. I've found that using them is better then using dowels, they'e better suited size wise for the little birds. Len
  24. Josh, it's a great looking cutting, I can't imagine your brother not liking it. Len
  25. Jim, when your posting pics like these that look so good, you never need to apoligize for being long winded. I found your explanation on each of them, to be very interesting. Len
