  1. Too cute! Len
  2. Denny, that's definitely a piece to brag on, it looks fantastic. You did a superb job of cutting all of the letters, and the bottom frame is straight and true. That's where you can tell what kind of skill a person, cutting straight lines can be a true test to ones ability. Len
  3. Roly, your right, these could be great sellers. Especially, if you cut the right phrase/saying. Len
  4. Nicely done Denny, the box looks great. Len
  5. Tony, the clock and angels look fantastic, that's a unique way of representing the stars. I hope things go well with your treatments, and that you don't get to tired to do anything. Take care. Len

Marg, that sucks, I think we've all been there though. Len
  7. Perry, a lot of times, it depends on what the bowl maker wants on the bowl. If it is writing or some other recognizable figure, then it is usually cut out with a saw before the bowl is made. If it is just a bunch of holes or other random designs, then it is usually done after the bowl is turned on a lathe or cut out with a saw. For the random patterns, most people use a rotary type of tool with a small carbide burr. Len
  8. Did someone remove the pictures, nothing shows up, not even a little insignia that should represent the pictures. There are a couple of picture JPG's in Kevins posting, I clicked on them and I get a message that what I'm looking for can't be found. Len
  9. I see nothing? Len
  10. Roly, any what, signs or moose? Len
  11. Another great looking cutting Todd, you seem to be selling a fair amount of these. Do you cut any in advance, or, do you wait for the order to come in? Please refresh my memory, where did you get this pattern from? Len
  12. Good looking cutting Mark, so good, that you could have left the name off of it. Len
  13. Way to go Joe, it looks fantastic. Len
  14. Kevin, that's a lot of work, what are the tall boxes going to be used for? You seem to be keeping busy enough just cutting out all of the names you do, now your taking on extras. Len
  15. Nice cutting Bobby, just because a person hasn't seen something, doesn't make it real or not. There's lots of things that I have never seen, but, they still exist. Len
  16. Steve, all of these projects look amazing. I wonder, have you ever given any thoughts of making the trees into a lighted box? I think a backlight box, would make for a great nightlight. Len
  17. Thanks Earl, this is interesting. Len
  18. Joe, this piece looks fantastic, I think your onto something. Len
  19. Cute. Len
  20. Nicely done Rob. Len
  21. Loren, all I see is perfection, if they're not pleased with them, then they're just to fussy. Len
  22. Peter, that's an outstanding bit of scrolling, it's definitely a piece to be proud of. Len
  23. Nicely done Matt, you deserve any praise you get sent your way. Len
  24. Nicely done Paul, I don't think anyone would notice the missing crown. Len
  25. Larry(Ea), my reply was to Larry(whodat), I wasn't criticizing your reply. I based my reply on personal experience, not on any internet search. I don't use Danish oil, I use blo instead. So, I guess there could be a different outcome, and maybe I should not have replied to this posting. I didn't leave out a warning on Danish oil, as I have no experience with it. And yes, I was aware that all oil based finishes are combustible, but, this type of mixture is susceptible to spontaneous combustion. I did not mention anything about the fumes from any of these items, simply because, I think that most people know how to protect themselves from hazardous fumes. Len
