Hi Kevin:
Seeing it's the back of the project, I cut and glue a 1/8" rectangle, sometimes thicker, slightly bigger than the sawtooth hanger then glue it screw it in. As you mentioned in your message.
You can always just glue the hanger in place, but I don't trust that method too much

Update
This is Steve. Just wanted to let you know that I will
be leaving the hospital today. Unfortunately I won’t be going home. I have to go to a rehab facility for a few weeks so they can get me walking again. I was able to walk four steps yesterday so that was encouraging. Thanks again for all the well wishes you have sent.
I really don't have an answer to the time delays in messages,
but just wonder if different time zones has something to do with it
Or,
Is it because we never did get the snowflake effect this year
on the screen that annoyed quite a few....LOL
All I did was copy and paste the message and just glad I was able to post it

Hi Jim:
Thanks for the info - interesting
I'm still old school - Dollar Store Green making tape. Dollar store glue sticks
add tape to the wood, add glue to pattern and tape, might be an overkill
taping both the pattern and tape but it works fine. The reason for taping
both, in case you missed a spot or two.
Again, this falls under to whatever works for you. To each his own

Hi Mathew: If I was to walk into the bathroom with a slab of wood and turn the shower on, my wife would
get me locked up into an asylum without giving me a chance to explain...
Glad it worked out for you

Hi JT:
Anyone who has been scrolling for awhile, will have or should have a variety of blades
You have to find what works for you.
I smiled when I read your list of blades. I'm very close to having the same assortment of blades.
I still have of the 3" blades from when I first started....lol

Here's more free stuff to look for
I replaced my ceiling tiles with 1/4" vinyl ones
The scrap pieces from the tiles are so easy to cut and don't fuse together when cutting slow
Made a few address signs and signs for a golf course with them. They are textured but still work
Glued and brad nailed them to the board
Will see in the long run how well they hold up
These were not glued yet that's why they're crooked...lol
