Frank, make sure your tin cans don't have a liner in them. We baked some beans in the can and they had a plastic, chemical taste. Come to find out the can had a thin plastic lining to help preserve the contents. Needless to say there were a lot of beans left over.

Yes, like Kevin does. I love the sheen it adds to some woods. I mixed a bunch up years ago to put on our cutting boards and still use it but only on occasion.
A bother piece based on Steve Goods pattern. It's 4 inches wide and tall. I had some cedar scraps and oak. I finished it with mineral oil/beeswax. I plan to flock the inside and give it to my granddaughter.
I just made the 5 letters. They are of poplar and water-based paint. Very easy to make and only took about an hour to cut, glue, and paint. The poly is drying now. I also put rare earth magnets in the back.
