Because of all the imperfections in the one i did i hid with glue and gold paint.You'd never know but i know.My neighbor works for eiffel cleaning service and wanted to buy it bad for his boss.I laughed and said take it it's yours .He was flabbergasted to say the least ,and almost shed a tear in gratitude.Made my day after all the work to see somebody happy with it!!!

I too have the dremil plunge router attachment,used it a few times.I just don't like the whining noise from routers or dremils.My shop work area is outside that I'm working on, two metal doors in the corner of the courtyard next to the fence FOR WORK TABLES.Hopefully the change of atmosphere will induce more projects. I'm getting swamped with quality wood and before i get buried alive push comes to shove

  15. I hope your pattern was better than the one I did, It sure looks like it! Really fun project to do. The one i did i downloaded the pattern and enlarge it, cut all the pieces and when I tried to put it together nothing fit. Home printers really lack quality back then. Hans, your work is the best!Mine was 22" tall
  16. A simple teeter totter type of drill holder made to 20" i need be out of a few 2x4's will work just fine.I'm setting up shop outside finally and this will be one of the project to make.I had to cut a half a tree down as a year ago i did all the branches.

  21. The grain in the maple is so fitting for the rock,buildings and mountains.Very wise choice indeed.The half inch wood adds perfect depth to an already great pattern. Your careful cutting brought out the best in this piece.The new owner will flip seeing this creation just in time for easter.Do you think she will be able to contain and not show EVERYONE,lol You will be high on her list of made my day for a long time. Count on plenty of orders coming your way from this piece of work.I'd like to have it myself.Maple is my favorite wood and will search out the thick stuff for religious items now.You set the pace !!! :thumbs:

  25. iF THIS IS WHAT'S IN THE CENTER OF THE MEXICAN FLAG YOU ARE THE MAN.I tried to airbrush this in 1991 and decided it was to much for poco money.Lots of critical detail and if your not into your work disaster strikes..your love of your heritage shone through in your work here.Ta bein ,very good !!! :thumbs:
