  5. This is what I did when my 3rd grandson was born, it fits in a 10 x 8 frame. The hole in the middle is for a photo. happy scrolling Steve

  10. Well thanks to DonR for helping out with the pattern, I've cut it, well half of it really as it was I couldn't see me cutting it as it had to be a 10" x 8" picture so I cut the important one, Poppy. It's cut out of 6mm Oak veneered mdf and finished with Danish oil. happy scrolling Steve

  13. Hi, I'm trying to make a pattern of two newfoundland dogs and have got so far and I think it's not far off but seem to have come to a wall so to speak and wondered if any one can tell me what they think and either finish it or point me in the right direction please. I've attached the original picture and the pattern as far as I've got. Many thanks for any help given. happy scrolling Steve

  15. Search for sewing machine belts on ebay and Amazon, there's plenty about, It's what I use on my two Hobbies A1 treadle fret saws. happy scrolling Steve
  16. If you look through his ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Black-Jax-Custom-Stencilsand go through the categories there are a lot of patterns that I recognise as being in the library and I think from other forums as well. I agree that the library should be only available to members with a certain number of posts, maybe 10, 15 or more. Maybe pattern central could be made private as well, I don't know the answer to this problem, just offering suggestions to combat it, It would not be a good thing if this behaviour made the pattern makers stop doing what they do on here, I for one appreciate all the time and effort they put in. happy scrolling Steve
  17. In a word, yes happy scrolling Steve

  19. Hi guys, I require help in making a pattern of this cat for a birthday gift in two weeks time. I've just downloaded gimp to try myself but this will be my first portrait pattern attempt and I'm struggling with it at the moment, but practice makes perfect as they say so I'll keep on trying but times against me on this one. I'd like the pattern to be a simple one and have two photos so either one or both will do, so if anyone can help I would be extremely grateful. happy scrolling Steve
  20. Here is the pattern, enjoy. happy scrolling Steve live laugh love.svg

  24. A big thank you to Travis for his recent video tutorial on intersecting wordart, I watched it and thought "I can do that," so here is my first attempt following the tutorial, it's not perfect but OK for a first attempt and the wife likes it very much. It's cut with FDUR1 blades from 1/4" Oak veneered mdf, the size is 10" x 8" finished with Danish oil. Comments welcome. happy scrolling Steve
