  12. Would be cool if it identified the species of wood using the iPhones camera.
  13. Yes, too bad the pyrography and woodcarving forums are still having issues - pyrography site ( Will not accept my password and the password reset never sends the reset email) - woodcarving (lets me log in, but when I try to view a picture, it says i'm banned) - I have emailed them several times, and have not gotten a reply, guess I won't be renewing my subscriptions to ANY of the Fox Chapel Publishing magazines. It's really a shame, in a time when publishers are losing subscribers left and right, that they don't have the time to respond to their customers. -Steven
  14. I only buy/get my plans directly from the source of the creator, that way I am sure they get the credit/money they so deserve. -Steven
  15. Hey Kevin, I would have been happy to send you a free data cable, but don't don't which one you need bud. -Steven
  16. I think I need more coffee, I read the subject line has House-Elvis Outstanding Cutting... -Steven
  17. For everyday projects I use the ones below, from Mike's Workshop. I also use a dedicated blade for puzzles, and I just ordered some spiral blades. Flying Dutchman - Ultra Reverse - FD-UR No. 5 Flying Dutchman - Ultra Reverse - FD-UR No. 3 Flying Dutchman - Ultra Reverse - FD-UR No. 7 -Steven
  18. I know i'm blessed, and I am thankful for having a Air Conditioned Workshop - I keep it at 70, just need to get a new Dehumidifier though, the hanging disposable ones are getting expensive. -Steven
  19. Great Scroll Work!!! Could you please share the Aiden pattern? That's my Grandsons name too, and I love what you did with the i in the name. I was thinking maybe I could incorporate a picture in the dot. -Steven

Flying Dutchman - Spiral Flat/End Scrollsaw Blades - FD-SP-FE No. 5 Flying Dutchman - Spiral Flat/End Scrollsaw Blades - FD-SP-FE No. 3 Flying Dutchman - Ultra Reverse - FD-UR No. 5 Flying Dutchman - New Spiral -FD-NS No. 3/0 -Steven
  23. Good Day Folks! Now that the Grandkid, is living close by, Pappy needs some idea's and even some links for some toys I can build for him. He just turned 3 years old, so the projects does not have to include, just scroll sawing. Thank You in Advance for your comments and suggestions, -Steven
  24. I go by feel, and use Johnson's Paste Wax when needed. I do a "deep" cleaning of all my cast-iron tool tops 2 times a year. Start with WD-40 to remove all the build up, then lightly go over surface with 0/0 steel wool, then apply the paste wax. BTW, I always thought cleaners/wax that contain silicon is a big no-no? -Steven
  25. Thank You All for the replies, I excited to try out some spiral blades. I am hoping, with a little practice I will be able to complete a fret-work project I been wanting to do. -Steven
