  1. Very COOL!!!!! Thanks for sharing this.
  2. Welcome to the village!!! I like to see so many people from so many countries and cultures on this forum because they all bring their little twist to the artistry. Join in and enjoy yourself. Don’t be afraid to ask questions as we all learn from the experience of others and there are a lot of experienced people on this forum.
  3. Shucks I was hoping to see how much they cost and possibly get a few and try them out.
  4. Were do you get these drill bits? I have been getting the jobber 118 Deg. drills and the shorter 135 degree split points but they all have the same size shank as the drill size.
  5. At 100 surface feet you would need to run the drill at 15,000 RPM. This is slow for wood. It is actually the speed I would run it for cold roll steel. They don’t make a tool that turns fast enough to run the proper surface footage for wood so run it as fast as you can and call it good. You just need to be very steady so you don’t tweak the drill and snap it off.
  6. I love seeing this one. I have always loved seeing my kids work with their dogs and this brings back some fond memories. Thank you for sharing.
  7. So he got what most lawyers deserve. Jail time and a large fine. Only most of them should get a life sentence.
  8. Have you ever heard of polygamy? They actually have a show on the boob tube about it here in America and no arrests have been made (As of my knowledge). I have no idea how you would keep more than one woman happy myself. That is hard enough to accomplish.
  9. I hope her parents have a VERY LARGE HOUSE! It is going to be over flowing with toys made by Grandpa.
  10. Wow!! That dog just jumped right out at me! (after I read the joke)
  11. WOW!!!! I can't wait to see your scroll saw work after you get some hours under your belt. These pins are OUT STANDING!!!!!
  12. That is about the time the S#@t hit the fan.
  13. Happy Birthday Sully!!!!!! Hope you have a fabulous day and an even better evening!!
  14. Very beautiful Box!!!!! Congratulations on a project well done. It looks about the right size to put the family bible in. I may have to make one for my Lady. Wait, what am I thinking!!!! 2000 holes!!!!!
  15. On page 19 of that manual is a list of authorized service stations for the delta saws. You should be able to get the blade clamps and the top screw for that saw thru one of them. If you can't get the delta parts the Hegner blade clamps might just fit on there but they don't have the wings to hold them on center as pictured in the manual. Other than that they look very similar
  16. Ya the set on the teeth tend to tear up the rubber on the wheels but how did it get to the bearings?
  17. I was just ready to post a video of someone playing taps on here but I read your post first. Glad to hear your saw isn't toast anyway. :D
  18. I think you have bit by the box bug.
  19. Very nice. I like the tower. That one is more my speed. I just don't have time for 2000 holes. Thanks for sharing
  20. Yes I think my mother is recovering better than I am. She had the opportunity to sleep the next two days after the trip.
  21. Thanks Russell. The reason I missed that is that June 14 2014 I will be getting married and the 14th is floating around in my head. I might bother you for a June in this same font for a gift for my own bride but first I need to finish my son's box. Lol Thanks again. I owe you for this one. I hope some day I can repay you.
  22. Wow I almost missed that Russel had the wrong date on there. Thanks for posting that Roly or I would have had it cut before I realized it was the wrong date. All of your fonts are nice but I really want to use an open number 4 so I dont have a floater to worry about. I had used some white out and fixed the Y for this also.
  23. Thanks Russel That looks like it will work MUCH better. I will post a picture of the finished box when its done. Your a life saver! Thanks again. :D
  24. OH BOY HERE WE GO!! Lol We all love the scroll saw we have and are all biased to them. I have a Hegner that I have fell in love with. Now there are many top of the line saws out there that if you have the $$$$$ are wonderful saws but there are some good beginner saws that will serve the purpose also. I am sure you are going to get a lot of response to your question but if it were me I would do a search of the forum for scroll saws and do plenty of research. Good luck and happy cutting. OH I ALMOST FORGOT WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE
  25. Only 6???????? I have at least that many prepped at all times ready to cut. Not to mention another dozen in my to do NEXT pile and notebooks full of to do patterns. Then there are all the patterns I have saved to a file in my computer. Now if I could just figure out how to spend some major time in front of my scroll saw.
