  1. I use FD new 3/0 spiral for all my plywood cutting.
  2. I brought a few tools over from the other house. Sorry I'll have to get a picture of the scroll saw.
  3. The entire inside will be insulated with plywood over it.
  4. That is awesome.
  5. Welcome and good job on the first.
  6. Very nice Marg. I'm a big Nirvana fan.
  7. Looking good Kevin.
  8. Glad you got it got going. I tightened the bolt just enough so that the arm will stay up on its own like the Excalibur when I move the blade to a new hole.
  9. I also use the saw tooth hangers.
  10. The building is 12' wide 24' long. I already have an infered heater. Will get the A/C before next summer.
  11. That's a good idea Scott, thanks
  12. Here are the pics.
  13. Finally got started on my new shop. I won't run the electric until next year. Been doing everything with an extention cord. The bench is 21 feet long.
  14. I use the FD new 3/0 spiral for everything plywood and fretwork related.
  15. For me things I couldn't live without would be the foot switch and magnifier with light.
  16. It holds the #54 bits I use, they are smaller than 1/6"
  17. I have the same drill press. The Lazer is bright and the chuck will hold the small drill bits I use.
  18. Very nice Scott. My problem is that I learned on spiral blades. I can't cut tight turns with a straight blade and can even cut a straight line better with a spiral so they are all I use for fretwork.
  19. I usually use the number 54 bits.
  20. I also use the bits from Mikes Workshop. I tried a lot of different ways to drill and for me the easiest is to use a Dremmel hand held. I stack cut a lot and it seems to be the easiest even on the very small areas.
  21. Welcome Bob. I don't own a EX but have cut on one. It needs to be bolted down to a solid table. You still need good tension on the small blade but keep the speed down to half or less. I would love to see pictures of the puzzle's you cut.
  22. Dick that is awesome. I love the way you did the name.
  23. There is a bolt going through the side of the DeWalt under the back of the table. If you tighten that bolt the arm will stay up by itself just like the Excalibur.
  24. Chris I don't blame you one bit for being upset. I know I would be if I had the tallent to design patterns. If it's ok can you post the name of the site that is trying to sell your pattern. That would make it easy for me and others to make sure we never do buniness with him.
  25. I only use the new FD 3/0 spirals. I don't do anything to the ends. I am running a DeWalt 788. I make sure the blade clamps are good and tight and tight tension. I also run the speed on 4 or a little under half speed. Gentle push on the wood, let the blade do the cutting.
