  1. Good luck John. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
  2. You can also buy a wine bottle cutter on line.
  3. Smoking is the hardest thing I ever quit. Good luck you can do it.
  4. We have a Woodcraft and they are also expensive. Other than that it's Lowe's or Home Depot.
  5. What size spiral blades did you get? The smaller spirals are easier. I have used the flat end spirals and they aren't as flat as you would think. I use the FD new 3/0 spiral for all of my fretwork. I just put them in and go. Nothing extra needs to be done.
  6. There should be a plate on the motor with the wiring hook up. If not Google the number on the motor and you should be able to get it there.
  7. You all are lucky. Where I live with no frame I would be lucky to get $20.
  8. I actually was going to get one of those small fridges once I get the electric done.
  9. Someone has been busy, very nice.
  10. I bought a new motor for the old table saw for $145. Also bought a new belt and it is running like new. Went out to look at new table saws and they just don't make them as sturdy as the old ones. Glad to have the old one running.
  11. I change the blade when I have to start pushing too hard to make the cut.
  12. That is pretty awesome. Do you know if the pattern is available or did he design and build it?
  13. Hi Mabel. Sorry I don't do puzzles, just wanted to say welcome to the village.
  14. Click on the blue this and it will open the link.
  15. I have had a type 2 for two years and no problems. For $200 i would buy it, new cost $450.
  16. Looking good.
  17. I don't know if its the same site but I was just on there I think. Go to www.forum.scrollsawer.com
  18. I put the bench together with deck screws.
  19. Wow great job. Thanks for sharing. The way you did the background gave me an idea on how to finish one of my projects, thanks.
  20. You just touch the fizzles around the edges with the flame and they burn off leaving a clean smooth edge. I do the same thing with all of my fretwork.
  21. Very nice, I like the finish.
  22. I also decided to fix the old table saw
  23. I got the rest of the walls insulated and covered. Here are a few more pictures. This is the V nailer I got for making picture frames.
  24. No just the one door.
  25. The table saw is from the 1960's. It belonged to my wife's father. Sad thing is I used it a few days ago and went to use it the next day and it died. A new motor is around $350 and I can buy a new saw for around $250. Here is the pic of my scroll saw.
