  3. Thought I would do one with a bit of Aussie flavour. This is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo found all over Australia in large flocks mainly around waterways in our gum tree forests. It has a very raucous call & is a very good alarm clock if camping out by the rivers.I made the pattern off a picture I had. Cheers Peter

  9. Another one finished .Used an air brush on parts of this one .Hope I got the colours somewhere close to what they should be & thanks to Gayle from Scrollers Cafe for the pattern.

    Thought I would try something different so did some painting on this one .It is painted with water based paint thinned right down till nearly a wash type consistency ,Thanks to The Scrollers Cafe for the pattern. Cheers Peter

Just finished this one ,It is a pattern by Thomas Mullane Jr.the size is about 12" x 9" I used 3/0 new spirals to cut it & I bought the frame from a second hand shop & I am quite pleased as to how it turned out,I put this one behind glass to give it a bit of protection from little hands.   23. I use the new spirals & any fuzzies are taken care of with a gas torch.on a low setting.
  24. What an amazing thing to do John That must give you heaps of satisfaction.You have started me thinking ,maybe I could do something like that for my charity.
  25. Dick just had another look at the largest pine tree & am not sure if there is a bridge towards the top or not I think I would be putting in another one if it were mine .Cheers Peter.
