  1. Nice work John & cut nicely as well.
  2. Made this one for my customer who wanted it for his mate Fatty as a birthday present. I put this one under glass as it has a few very delicate pieces in it ,I also made the frame out of red gum. Cheers Peter
  3. That is what I thought as well ,The blade rubbing on the insert as Spirithorse suggested.
  4. You did well Marg.

  11. Beautiful work John ,I am sure our Diggers would love a medal box like this.Your attention to detail is amazing particularly the Rising sun emblem.
  12. Have been very busy lately doing other things but now have time to do some scrolling again & some relaxation time with my saw.Had an order for this one & the customer said he would take as many as I could make for him. He wants anything to do with cars ,motorbikes & hot rods. He wants to line the walls of his office with them so I am going to be busy for quite some time. Thanks to Grampa for the pattern
  13. Lovely job Smitty .Have you thought of putting a white backer behind it to eliminate the vertical stripes running through it.
  14. Some lovely box's there John .You do excellent work.
  15. Beautifully done Jeff.
  16. I use an air brush I find it gives a better finish than the spray cans & gets into all those small openings better.
  17. Did the same thing yesterday & being very small blades did not help even put a 2/0 blade in with the teeth facing to the rear of the saw, so you are not alone.
  18. Beautiful work Marg .
  19. That looks like my first saw only over here in Australia it is known as a Carbatec. & they sell for $800 Australian dollars. The saw served me well for quite a few years until I upgraded to a EX21. Cheers Peter
  20. Lovely work rob are you going to line it with felt or something similar ,I think that would really make it pop.
  21. You certainly make a beautiful box John .That's one to be proud of,your sister is going to love it.
  22. I would put a backer behind it Ralph ,Makes the lettering stand out. I find that I mainly use a black backer on mine . Nice job by the way.
  23. Frank If you go to vectorstock.com & put " cartoon fisherman " in the search box you will find it on page 2. The lettering was made by me in Inkscape. Cheers Peter
