  1. Welcome Neil. That is awesome. Love the Ash and Mahogany woods chosen. The pyrography you've added finishes the box perfect. Well done.

  7. I'd stay with what you have Mark. Especially if you're not having any issues with the saw. If you've got the passion for scrolling and can see yourself doing this as a serious hobby for a few years and more invest your dollars into a more serious saw. You'll never be sorry you had.
  8. I 've always used Bostik GlideCote / table and tool surface sealant. Lasts longer than paste wax and will not stain wood surfaces. After each use of scrollsaw I spray the table lightly, wipe with soft cloth, and wipe second time with cheesecloth. I've had my scrollsaw for 18 years and very few scratches. This sealant also protects against moisture and rust. Excellent on all metal table tops and tools.
  9. Pour me a glass Chris. Never tasted Pendleton. Congrats on your reward.
  10. Excellent work Jerry. Really love the photo.
  11. Is the main bearing on the new linkage a sealed bearing? If it is then it shouldn't require greasing. I would say the grease you show Paul will be okay. For additional assurance contact a machinist or mechanic. It's odd that you have to replace the linkage when usually it's a simple adjustment when it comes to vibration. I'm betting you'll have this machine running like new again. I would contact Ray at Seyco if additional help is required. All the best Paul.
  12. Welcome Neil.
