  2. Hi Fay Terrific work well done.
  3. Good day Jack I can recall going back some fifteen years when I first started into scrolling. I would grab any book on scrolling that I thought had some informative info. There is a magazine called Creative Woodworks & Crafts that I still subscribe to that I must admit helped and guided me in learning the most. Mind you today the net has endless information re: the subject and the best thing about it, it's free. Even better is this site, especially for someone just starting into this hobby. There are hundreds of people that share the same interest and are willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Wishing you all the best.
  4. Good morning Nick All are excellent. Very nice work.

  10. Good day don Nicely done.
  11. Hi Hans You did a fantastic job. Very nice. My first preference would be black, second a dark charcoal and third navy. Sometimes choosing a background will depend on the type of frame the portrait is going into. What ever you choose I'm sure it will look great. Have a great weekend.
  12. Good morning Mike You did a terrific job. Love wildlife scenes.
  13. Hi Dennis I have to say the first one strikes me the most.
  14. Hi Dan Like very much. I think it's very fitting for someone retiring.
  15. Good morning Kevin Good price on the sharpener. Don't matter what it looks like as long as it gets the job done and saves you a lot of bucks buying new blades. Hope you get a lot of use out of it. Oh, by the way, did you get your bed back? Lol !!! Have a great day.
  16. Good morning Dick That's a very nice sign you've done for a friend who'll appreciate very much.
  17. Enquiring if any members happen to be using a Hawk BM series scroll saw? If you are it would be very much appreciated if you would submit your reviews, pros and cons. Thank you. Ron
  18. Good morning Todd Shelby Cobra, my favourite car. You did a fantastic job on the cobra.
  19. Good morning Kevin Congrats on your new saw. Is that a Beauty Rest your saw is sleeping on? Doesn't look like it has left much room for you. That must leave you the floor. Darn women ... I mean saws ... Lol. Hope you enjoy your new saw and have a great day.
  20. Hi Maggie On the very back of the top arm is your tension knob. Turn counter clockwise to lower the top arm and clockwise to increase the height. Using a small square measure distance between the table and top blade clamp and adjust the distance by turning the tension knob so you have approximately 2 1/2". Chances are the top arm is set too high. If you have the new Ex the max. height is 3". Hopefully this solves your problem.
  21. Hi Maggie Welcome. Enjoyed viewing your web site. Fabulous designs. All the best in your scrolling and looking forward to seeing some of your projects.
  22. Hi Jessie Nicely done. How true. So many people young and old today have no idea of the meaning of the word RESPECT.

  25. Good morning Jessie Now that is different. Well done. Your son must be into music.
