I have a mason jar with the 50/50 mix, I dump it into one of those disposable foil pans like you might cook a turkey in. Add fretwork, remove and shake off excess. When I'm done I just pour it back in the jar.

I doubled the length of hose on my old Craftsman. You can add/subtract as much hose as you like, heat it up a bit to work with it.

A house in Minnesota where they spend their winters? Are they nuts? Most people leave here for the winters...
Don't sell yourself short, that is a beautiful piece, one of the best I've seen.

I know many of you have cut these, here’s my reindeer herd. All will be given away to relatives and friends. The hardest part was putting in the nose and the tiny screw eye on top. Pete

Awesome job on these difficult pieces!
Dan, the first one is a Charles Dearing and the third one is a Mike Williams. Don't know the other two.

Nice job with the spirals!
I'm assuming you used spirals and flat blades both. Once you get over the fear and gain some confidence, you will wonder why you didn't try spirals sooner. There are many applications where they just work better!

Thanks for the kind comments guys & gal. I probably worked on this thing for 20 hours over a couple weeks, from pattern inception to framing. Thanks again Dan for the portrait patterns I used in this piece!
