  14. Dennis, I had this same issue, brand new saw. All the way through the stroke the top of the blade was forward of the bottom. I found info on Steve Goods site and tried this. It worked very well, blade is 90º front to back now. Raise the back of the table, for me is was 1/4". Made this out of walnut and a 3/8" dowel. I will be haveing a friend make a better one out of metal, but this works fine. Good luck! Pete
  15. Another great plaque Dan, nice touch with the jute! Pete
  16. Nice to get that first one done, you won't be scared next time. Spiral away with confidence, you've done a fine job! Pete

  18. I like it! Cute little bugger. Pete
  19. What a great gesture Frank, you are lucky to have each other. Pete
  20. What thickness of wood are you cutting? If you are trying to cut one piece of 1/8" material you will have all kinds of control problems because of the agressive nature of the spirals. I try to cut at least 3/8". Put some scrap wood underneath or stack a few up, tape them together, to get more than one finished item. I use a pretty fast speed on the machine and a pretty slow feed rate....easy does it. Pete
  21. Wonderful job Dick, don't be afraid to try stuff, you are good enough! Pete
  22. Very nice Frank! I guess I'll stay young forever! Pete
  23. Sure Berry, no problem. Found the plans here: http://www.woodworkingcorner.com/index.php On the left side click on "Crematiom Box". They have other plans here as well. Used biscuits for the corners, top is glued. The botton is held on by 4 screws for access. I got the cherry from a friend, and the walnut both the 1/16" for the artwork and the 1-1/2x 1-1/2 x 5 corner blocks came from http://www.ocoochhardwoods.com/ Pete
  24. As it gets dull, it seems to wonder from the line and is harder to control. They're only 30¢ a piece, toss it. Pete
  25. I can see why it is your favorite, wonderful portrait. Pete
