Dan, great job as always on this plaque.
I've looked at Dafont, 1001 free fonts, 1001fonts, fonts.com, myfonts, fontsquirrel, and fontshop. I cannot find Woodart, do you happen to remember where you may have got it from?

Here's my variation of Steve Good's gumball machine (I prefer peanut m&ms) with a few changes. The hardest part was cutting the 30 degree angle for the candy catch on the lowest piece. Made from Alder with English Chestnut stain. Pete
oops, forgot the pic...
Nice job! Great idea grabbing patterns and putting them to use like that.
Been thinking of doing something similar, seems we have tissue boxes all over the place....

Very nice basket.
How do you glue the pieces together? I'm always afraid that I will have too much glue squeeze out, so the finish won't take. That's why I have not tried some of these. Do you put little dots of glue all the way around??

I ordered a bunch of different woods one time and the purple heart had some kind of mark on one end. After my call, more arrived in a couple days, no charge. Great to work with.

I use these plastic tubes from Sloans, $5.95 per dozen. A magnetic strip for the "in use" blades. Pete http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/scroll_saw_blades.htm

Very nice cutting of your pattern Don. I tried those No 1's spirals, kept breaking them while setting the tension, will give it another go some time....

Not sure if you're talking hardwood or plywood, but 1/4" x 4" x 24" is all under $4 here ( for most woods)..... Plus shipping, of course.
I have had nothing but good luck buying from them.
