  1. what a great piece. I love the way you painted it and added all the cute flowers on the bottom of it. Dick heppnerguy
  2. I have not seen this pattern cut for awhile. I love how yours turned out and the way you painted the pieces makes it really striking. I do not see how it could be any better then it is. Dick heppnerguy
  3. All of these are magnificent. Hard to pick a favorite from them. Dick heppnerguy
  4. Ron, You usual craftsmanship comes out in these rather simple patterns. I love how stately the people seem in them. I have not even heard of the beading before, but it sure adds a nice touch. Dick heppnerguy
  5. A good reminder and a cute little sign. I bet a lot of these will be made in the days to come Dick heppnerguy
  6. what a cute piece. Thanks for posting Dick heppnerguy
  7. you are keeping the saw dust flying as you continue to work in your shop to produce some nice pieces for us to enjoy too Dick heppnerguy
  8. A very nice pattern, as usual. I just might give this one a try, as it appeals to me a lot Dick heppnerguy
  9. your work is always really well done. I love it when I see that you have posted something new. I like Sam Custodio's patterns also. He lives in Oregon and I was going to stop and meet him but I did not have an exact day I was going through his town and I happen to get there a day he was not at home. Keep up the good work. Dick heppnerguy
  10. This Welcome sign is for an Indian family friend who's name is TIGER so his mother accepted this pattern in place of one she had already chosen because she, like myself, just liked it better. I made the pattern from something I saw on the computer somewhere. I particularily liked the way the red part turned out and my wife said it looked 'really amateur'. After looking at it some more, I decided that I was going to keep that look because I liked the way it is. I mean, after all, Andy Warhol got famous for painting a Campbell Soup Label. Not that this is going to make me famous, but the creator of something should have the right to make something to his or her own taste, Don't you think? Dick heppenrguy
  11. Nice job. I like the 3D effect here. You out did yourself this time Dick heppnerguy
  12. Fret work like this one, always demands a lot of attention and very well desired too. It is truly a beautiful piece and although these take a long time to cut, it still is only one hole at a time. Thanks for sharing this with all of us Dick heppnerguy
  13. wow Ron, A really nice assortment of wooden cars and trucks. They are amazing pieces that will delight a little folk and make nice conversational pieces for someone to display and admire Dick heppnerguy
  14. Well you won't have to put up much longer with me posting the Christmas projects for my wife's cousin as I only have about 3 more to go after this one. This is a Sue Mey pattern that I had a good time cutting. I am happy with how it turned out even though I modified it a bit by extending the backer board past the outline of the cross. I personally like the looks of it a little better. It is strictly a personal like and not to be taken as a disagreement with how the pattern is meant to be cut. I used a Pegas #1 mg blade to cut it and for me, it was the perfect blade choice for this project. I hope she likes this one as much as I do. I know it looks like the cross and the backer oard are out of alignment but it is only do to the angle of the camera. And I apologize for the stripes of light on the bottom of the cross, it is only the glossy finish that caused that to happen and of course my lack of photography skills Dick heppnerguy
  15. another really nice jester for honoring the combat medics. They are truly a blessing to those wounded in combat Dick heppnerguy
  16. All of those are wonderful. You did a superb job and all of these projects. I love all of them. Congratulations on your beautiful work Dick heppnerguy
  17. A really nice extra touch that will be remembered by all those present at the reception. Probably one person at each table will be honored to take the table marker home with them after the wedding reception is over Dick heppnerguy
  18. A nice pattern that is well cut. Thanks for sharing your hard and devoted work with all of us Dick heppnerguy
  19. I like this pattern and the way you cut and finished it. A really great reminder about those involved in our national guard outfits. They too need to be thanked and honored as well as our regular soldier and sailors Dick heppnerguy
  20. e As we get older, we find that some reminders really help us to get the little things done that sort of slips our minds when we suddenly wake up and find we should have shut off the television 2 hours ago and went to bed. A great idea, well thought out and made. I like it a lot Dick heppnerguy
  21. If one starts to cut fragile fret pieces, a useful tool to have on hand is an awl. if the pieces start to stick in the holes,it is an easy and practical way to remove them without putting pressure on the close, already cut holes, preventing breakage of those pieces. Dick heppnerguy
  22. Welcome to The Village. Nice to have different sources to explore if you are in search of a new tool to buy. We have several sites here in America that also gives some good and honest revues on new saws. Thanks for informing us of this one too Dick heppnerguy
  23. I have enjoyed seeing this pattern too, although I have not purchased or cut it as of yet. I agree it is one that is enjoyable to look at as this pattern adds a lot of new dimension with the open window effect. I also like you future plans to incorporate the window idea into another pattern. Dick heppnerguy
  24. well done pieces. Glad to see you posting once more. Always nice to see what you are posting. Hope you leg is not giving you and problems now or in your future. Dick heppnerguy
  25. That was an interesting lighting idea. I also like the 3D and the frame variations. very interesting projects. It is great how you came up with so many ideas from just one pattern Dick heppnerguy
