  1. Nice job cutting this. You keep up the good work. You will soon be seeing yourself trying patterns you never thought you could possibly do. Take is slow and easy and ask for suggestions if you find something is not working as you planned. People are friendly here and love to help one another Dick heppnerguy
  2. fun and different piece.. Thanks for posting. I bet he will love it Dick heppnerguy
  3. it sure is fun for me too , when I gift one of my project to someone that really appreciates it. Way to go, Kevin Dick heppnerguy
  4. I just find that using a #1 blade makes it rather difficult to stay on the lines and a #3 or #5 , I can still cut some pretty close fret and it is easy to stay on the lines at the same time. Everyone is different and that is what make things in this form of art, interesting to me Dick heppnerguy

  9. What time is it? Oh I believe you are the man to answer this question as I can only imagine how many clocks you must have around the house. Dick heppnerguy
  10. Nice job on this one. I am amazed that you choose a #1 blade to cut this. I would have picked a 3 or 5 blade. Interesting how different scrollers selections can be for the same piece. I guess that is why it is difficult to answer "which blade to use" from a new scroller Dick heppnerguy
  11. Looks like you are getting ready for Autumn. Nice piece.. I think you are right about the stem color Dick heppnerguy
  12. Kris. you continue to awe me with your patterns and cuttings. I missed the rescuer man, glad you pointed it out. Dick heppnerguy

  18. If you do not have it by the time I get to your house, I will try to help you figure it out. Dick heppnerguy
  19. The eye is fine. Not sure what got into it but I believe it was something like a sun screen or something like that from my forehead. Nothing serious, just annoying like I am Dick heppnerguy
  20. I have a niece that will be graduation from high school in June. Fortunately we will be in Oregon then and should be able to attend her ceremony. I liked Steve Good's new 2119 graduation plaque and I thought that with the school colors added it should look pretty nice. Her school colors are blue, white and grey and I was able to use all three colors in making it. I have to say that I do not particularly like using 3/4 inch thick wood for plaque as Steve suggested and did it all in 1/4 inch BB ply. I, personally enjoy the way they came out. OH, I forgot to mention that I made two of them so she could give one to her boyfriend of other class mate that she might to give the other one to. These are approx. 8 X 10 inches, and I hope she likes it. Dick heppnerguy
  21. nice when you make your own pattern and finally get around to actually cutting it. "Rebooting" is an almost weekly chore with my computer or phone. Dick heppnerguy
  22. outstanding project. A challenging one for anybody but you did indeed get it done right. That is a fabulous piece and I like the framing also. Dick heppnerguy
  23. Paul think I did not talk with you any longer on the phone yesterday, you probably would have been too tired of me to even want to cut anything today. Nice portrait. Your usual fabulous cutting. Dick heppnerguy
