  1. Don't know why the animal clocks would not sell, as the ones without clocks seem to be a winner at craft shows. I would think you would have to add to the price some and that could maybe be a deterrent for some and a plus for others. Interested to see what your results might be with them Dick heppnerguy
  2. That is a clever way of making a car pattern. I have, of course, seen many animal puzzles made with this idea but never a car before. I really like it when someone has a unique idea and goes for it. It always seems to catch on. Dick heppnerguy
  3. Sam always make great patterns and has just enough detail to make them worth cutting but not too much that most scroller are able to cut them. Nice job on this one, Edward, as are all your projects. I really like the frame also Dick heppnerguy
  4. So glad you posted this extremely well cut pattern as my neighbor has a Fat Boy Harley and I have been looking for one to cut for him.. Sue has so many patterns that I had not run across it before. I will have to go look for it. Dick heppnerguy
  5. What a unique idea. Did you make the pattern ? I have never seen anything like it before. That should draw a lot of comments as they proudly display this piece for family and friends to admire also Dick heppnerguy
  6. That is really nice piece. I can see why it was so well accepted. the design and finished plaque are outstanding Dick heppnerguy
  7. nice projects. All are fun pieces and adding the different colors to the background on the clock is a great idea and nicely done too Dick heppnerguy
  8. I can't wait to see you again. I sure felt bad about not being able to visit with you last time. Looking forward to it this summer, a lot. I will try to give you a call and chat tomorrow Dick
  9. Our German guest lived with us for about 9 months and went our high school in our little town in Oregon for one school year. She and her family live in Lindberg which is about 40 minutes north of Frankford. She just finished her schooling and received her masters in architecture. It was ten years ago that she lived with us and now she is ready to go on with her adult life. We are so excited to see her again. My wife and I went to Germany for her high school graduation. We visited a lot of places there and had a wonderful time meeting more the her family and enjoying many German sights. We also had another German exchange student who lives in Hamburg and we were able to visit with her and meet her extended family and was treated to many wonderful places in the North of the country also. I love the German people and the beautiful and clean country of Germany. Dick heppnerguy
  10. How nice to have something special from her thoughtful dad. Nice project Dick heppnerguy
  11. Well, you took a cute little Steve Good pattern and put your own talents to it and came up with something that is truly unique and one of a kind. It is a really cute and way more fun piece by adding the different wood colors and then the lights. Perfect. Nice job on the video too Dick heppnerguy
  12. What a fun idea, but might fill an entire wall if one travels much Dick heppnerguy
  13. I love your signs. They are all so well done. Dick heppnerguy
  14. You have quite a large display of cars and westerns in you wonderful and original framing. These a great addition to those as well. Nice ones, once again Dick heppnerguy
  15. Bernd, sent me another of his wonderful patterns and challenged me to try and cut it. Last time it was the B25 where I changed the font and heard so many people ask about it. This time it is the 1936 Duesenberg. What a beautiful car from the past. I was a little afraid the all the uprights of the grill were going to get broken because they are not supported by anything at the tops of them, but I managed to cut them without an incident. Overall I am pleased with the outcome and eventually I will make a frame for it and hang it on my computer room wall. I do not have the cutting skill of Bernd, as you all already are aware of, but for me, I came out 90 % happy with the end results. I cut it approx. 11 X 15 inches and changed to pattern to a lighter color so I could see my blade better, then when it was black and white. I did change the pattern a little but took on most of the challenges in it. I used a Pegas #3 and a #1spiral to cut this one. I have 4 days left before we have company from Germany and then we will be going on a hot air balloon ride the day she leaves and 3 days later we are off to Oregon for 2 1/2 months, so no shop time for most of the summer. One of the good parts about that trip is, I will have the opportunity to visit my good friend, Scrappile a couple of times. Dick heppnerguy
  16. you are continuing to turn out some really nice portrait memories for a lot of us and topping it with your special framing Dick heppnerguy
  17. Wow. Dave, you really took that pattern to the max. I love it when I see a pattern somewhere and then see someone up it by several points, like you did here. You sure have a knack for making a rather OK looking piece and turning it into a master piece Dick heppnerguy

  25. A cool project. I have a neighbor that has one of these pickups that he drives around town a lot. Fun to see it going down the road. I like the way you did this clock. How did you do the inside of the wheel spokes? Are they cut out or wood burned ? Dick heppnerguy
