  1. Taken from a pattern posted by Fuzz on free4all
  2. Got another craft fair to attend this weekend, this ones run by County fairs, a much bigger organisation than my last fair so hopefully more customers, fingers crossed.
  3. DW is right, they would make lovely trophies, nice cutting.
  4. OK, so call me thick but how does the dust collection work if it is on the corner of the table???
  5. Looks like a nice place to live and a great piece of scrolling, thank for sharing.
  6. Love it, well done.
  7. Thank you all for your lovely comments, my wife also liked it. The wood is Rubber wood and the blades are Olson reverse tooth 20 tpi, I used a slow speed because the thickness of the centre of the plate is 1.5 cm. i experienced very little burning except on the tightest of turns, but all in all i found it a very easy wood to use, I sometimes worry that on some of the fine cuts i am going to get breakout but this was very stable. I hope this helps Kevin.
  8. Love your work, well done.

    Clint

For about 3 years now my facebook profile picture has been a head shot of Clint Eastwood, A face book friend sent me a Clint pattern that was so much like my profile picture it could be the same one. I decided to put it on a wooden shop bought plate, this is the result. I dont know where he got the pattern from and I appologise if it is yours and mean no disrespect by not naming you as the owner. This will be a gift for my wifes Birthday (Sept 6th) she's a Clint fanatic, hope she likes it.
  10. I right click on the chosen pattern, save to a folder (documents or picture folder) and print directly from there.
  11. Not really bragging more like Lucky, I have learnt that it is not advisable to try cutting while the 5 year old grandaughter is visiting, due to my concentration being shattered some mistakes were made but i think under different circumstances this could work well.
  12. So I'm not alone after all, its nice to meet you all, hope you have luck with a new machine soon Robert. Happy scrolling...
  13. Hi Lofty, nice to meet you.
  14. Sorry to leave our non GB friends out of this one, but are any of you brit scrollers in the Scroll Saw Village living anywhere near Leicester ?, I'm feeling very isolated here...
  15. Its good to work with is'nt it DW
  16. Thanks Robbert, you might need to say a big prayer.
  17. First of all thanks to Steve Good for his Dragon picture...secondly, Help! my wife got a new Bamboo cutting board and it looked so good I could not resist...do you think she will mind...?
  18. Thanks to Wild Bill for his Bruce Pattern and a big thanks to Don for his help with the Rooney pattern, the grandkids dictated what they wanted and these are the results...
  19. Its a great village, welcome and enjoy yourself.
  20. Hello and welcome to the village.
  21. A lovely piece of work, you are very skilled.
  22. A warm welcome to the village..
  23. Love it, go with the colour Don, it looks great.
  24. I used to have an Erbauer 16" scroll saw, it took pinned and pinless blades so I bought a selection of each. I have since upgraded to an Excaliber 21, it only takes pinless blades, so what to do with 6 dozen pinned blades, answer, de-pin them. So while a terrific thunder and lightning storm raged outside I sat in a corner of my shed, radio on, cuppa tea on the side, and removed all the pins, I should not have to buy blades for quite a while now, but what to do with all those pins ??
  25. Hi and welcome to the village I'm from Leicester uk.
