  1. Thanks Travis, I'll check it out.
  2. I'm experiencing something very strange with my ex21, I can be quite happily cutting away when suddenly the motor speeds up, usually for less than a minute and then returns to normal before doing it again a few minutes later, very disconcerting when doing fine cuts. Can anyone tell me why this should be happening or more importantly how to cure it, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
  3. Happy birthday messman, have a good one.
  4. Hi, I'm Doc from Leicester. Welcome to the village. My first saw was an Erbauer 16" A good strong machine, a feature I liked on it was that I could use pinned or unpinned blades and turn the blade 45 degrees if I wanted to do larger work, on the down side I sometimes struggled to attatch the bottom of the blade. Have fun, and don't forget to show us your work.
  5. Three great pics, thanks for sharing.
  6. A few months ago I tried my hand at pattern making, I had some success but was never really happy and turned to our talented pattern makers more and more. In an attempt to help me improve I bought a pen tablet in the hopes it would give me more control, it does and I am now much happier when attempting patterns. Here's what I have done so far, not quite finished yet but getting there.

  12. Not really a brag more of a what do you think. I had a scrap piece of pine and half an idea, the result is a querky little puzzle tree, a bit rough round the edges but an exersise to see if it works. Now I think I'll do it properly, making oak trees out of oak, ash trees out of ash, elm trees out of elm and so on, what do you think ?
