  4. Welcome to the village Fritz.
  5. Took this from my paperwork, hope it helps.
  6. I love making things and being creative, especially with wood.
  7. Got to try to stop clenching my teeth when scrolling, my jaw really aches when I'm finished.
  8. Welcome, you have been scrolling for a lot longer than i have so it will probably be me coming to you for tips.
  9. Thanks again Travis, used the alibaba link and found a supplier about 2 hours drive away, as its nearer the coast than i am i think i will wait a couple of weeks, pick a sunny day then go over and make a day of it, thanks.
  10. Thanks Travis, I'll have a llok.
  11. We used to have a bread bin made from rubber wood, it has now been dismantled and is lying on my work bench, (dont tell my wife). I added a small pattern to a part of it and started to cut on my scroll saw, I was very impressed and now I want more but I cant source it, and i cant afford to keep buying bread bins. Does anyone out there know where I can get it from please, I live in the UK so any suppliers outside these shores will need to be able to export but of course i would prefer UK suppliers. I would be grateful for any hints, tips or ideas. thanks.
  12. Thanks for the info Jim, I do stuggle to get any decent wood in Leicester, so maybe this is what I'm looking for, thanks.
  13. Thanks for your help Jim, its nice to know i'm not alone and i shall be doing what you suggested first thing tomorrow, i'll let you know how i get on. Thanks again. Doc.
  14. Would someone be good enough to tell me what i am doing wrong please. I have had my EX21 for about a week now and already need new blades, firstly i have trouble clamping into the top blade holder takes me 3 or 4 times to get it clamped, secondly after doing just a few internal cuts, releasing and reclamping the bottom clamp, the blade is kinked so badly i cannot get it through the drill hole, I know i must be doing something wrong, but what? help needed please.
  15. Welcome to the village John.
  16. I am absolutely over the moon, just got a shop soiled brand new excaliber ex21 for £337 (537 US aprox) I feel like a kid at christmas, cannot wait to set it up and play.
  17. Hi, Just to let you know that my user name has changed from +1doc to Docupton.
  18. Hi, I've been using an Erbauer, it does what it says on the tin but i find blade changing a bit fiddly and frustrating, I am going to upgrade to a larger Axminster with quick release blade clamps, may I suggest you bear blade changing in mind when choosing your first saw, even if it does cost a couple of bob more.
  19. Nice to meet you too, we are all fine over here, hope you are too.
  20. 'Bout time, welcome.
  21. Hi Alexander, I'm Doc from the UK, welcome.

    Hello

Hi, I'm Doc from Leicester UK, welcome aboard.
  23. Hi Robert, most of my sales were portraits and animal jigsaws, so i'm busy building up my stock again.
  24. Well my first craft fair has now ended, and although i would still rather be tucked up in my shed i think it all went very well. Sold enough to make a small profit, took some orders and wating to hear from venue owners with a view to supplying them with a few items to sell in the venue gift shop on a sale or return basis. And now all the nerves of facing the public have faded I'm feeling quite chuffed. Thanks again to all of you who gave me encouragement before the event.
  25. Blimey you all sound busier than me and i thought i was doing enough. I manage about 3 hours a day 3 times a week, you sound like a full time scroller Jim. Where abouts in the UK are you Chippygeoff, if your craft fair is within reach I may pop down for morale support. Good luck to those of you selling soon, my first sale is this weekend (10th March).
