  1. I also like the Pegas modified geometry blades. #3 and #5.
  2. Those are awesome! Being a model railroader, I gotta ask, which train museum?

Funny thing is, I still have all my old albums and two of my brothers collections that they were gonna throw away back when CD's came out. No Frank you can't have them either. (Smile) And, I still have my turntable. I just hate when the darn thins skip!

What, did ya run out if albums? (Big smile)
  6. Fastenal also carries the small bits.
  7. They look good and that's a clever idea for storage.
  8. Hunched up shoulders, Guilty! Not breathing, Guilty! So many times I have found that I have to tell myself to breath and relax my shoulders. I honestly don't even know how I set my hands when I'm scrolling. So, thank you Charley!
  9. Forgive me for sounding dumb, but.... My EX does lift rather rough. So the question is, where is the adjusting screw?
  10. I saw that you posted it on Lumberjocks and wished I was registered there so I could comment. I then saw it was you and hoped you posted it here. WOW!!! That is awesome, both the design AND the cutting!
  11. Yeah, I was kind of, still am actually, a little disappointed that it doesn't run. But, I'm taking the avenue of, 'hey, it's no different than any of the fret work that I hang on the wall'. But, it's almost better, in the fact that I can putz with it, whereas, a fret work piece ya just look at. It's all in how ya look at things. Big big smile. And a big thank you to all the nice comments. I appreciate it!
  12. That is really cool Dave! How big is it?
  13. Nice job Scrappile! I agree with everything you said in your initial post about Iggy. I'm in awe of his woodworking and even more so, his marketing.
  14. Very cool! What did you use for a finish?
  15. I've had a couple of posts about the making of this clock in Works in Progress and Tutorials. I'm not sure if I should be putting this in the bragging part of the forum for the simple fact that I can't get it to run more than 7 or 8 seconds. Hence, the oversized hood ornament comment. (Big smile) I was challenged and had a lot of fun making this clock. It is made from Baltic Birch plywood and walnut. I remade all the gears hoping that was the problem, but to no avail. So, I will let it be, until this fall, before I putz wth it again. It still is a cool piece of work in my opinion and am very happy that I made an attempt at this. Jeff, from Wooden Gear Clocks has been awesome in helping me. Also, I've had the pleasure of "getting to know" Scrappile Paul while making the clock. He too is making the clock, and we've emailed back and forth. To those of you that gave me input trying to help me, I thank you all very much! And, a special thanks to Scrappile, it's been fun Paul, keep in touch. Have a great weekend everyone, and a Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms
  16. That really made me laugh. Still laughing
  17. I always kinda figured it was like having a handle back in the days of CB's. Your handle was your nickname and everyone knew you by that name. Me, I'm a clown and very proud of being one. My clown character name is Gonzo. People call me that whether I'm in costume or not. And I'm ok with that. Actually I'm pretty proud of that. Besides which, "Hey Gonzo!" Is a lot better than "Hey Dorkwad," Big big smile. Signed Gonzo or Matt or Dorkwad. Now I'm all confused.
  18. Nice scrolling. To answer the question in the cartoon; yep!
  19. Well done! One of my all time favorite movies.
  20. I've driven the North Shore in Minnesota and the South Shore in Wisconsin and Michigan. That really makes me want to drive the Canadian side. Looks great!
  21. Very nice pattern and a very nice cutting. Enjoy your bank holiday and a Happy Easter b
  22. I like both this and the rooster. I also am a big fan of shellac. I think it gives your pieces a nice luster without making it look plasticky. If that's a word. (Big smile)
  23. Amazing! Being a model railroader, that's one of my all time favorites that I've seen on this site. Thank you for showing it.
  24. Holy crap, that is awesome! That looks like fun. Where is the pattern from?
  25. My apologies. I meant dgman. Damn auto correct.
