    I want to try the candle holder. That is really nice. Can you point me to the video? I guess I can search it out. He has a ton of videos. Never mind, found it , that was easy. Now to see if I have that magazine. Very nice work, Mr. Walters!

    Not a whole lot, popular is pretty easy cutting, at least this piece was. I cut all the leaf veins and such with a straight #2 Pegas skip, then went over them with a 2/0 Pegas spiral.

    I finished cutting this in late February, I believe. Been sitting on my table saw waiting for me to decide what to do with it. Nothing yet. I want to do something with it. It is cut in. 1/2" popular wood, A Finoa Kingdon pattern. I really enjoyed cutting, as I do all of her patterns, I have used.

    Very nice work. That rocking horse may go through bothers and sisters, cousins, etc. Mine did over the years, he is over 79 years old and still pastured at my daughter's, wait'n for maybe some great-grandchildren riders.

    That is a great piece. I love seeing your carved pieces. Got one I want to try some carving on. Probably will make a mess of it, but for me it is only a hobby done for fun. I am anxious to see the rest of you the pieces you are working on.

    Thanks for the info. Probable should check mine out. Doubt that any maintenance has ever been done to it other than me waxing the table to a few times.

    I pick up boxes and stuffed envelopes several times a week at the post office from Missouri Star.

    Well, the material is easier to store than baskets! My wife was into Londonberger Baskets once, became a seller, went to conventions, and made a trip to visit where they made them. I remember once when my daughter and her husband came for a visit. He is in the bathroom, and yells out, "Oh my God there are 17 baskets in the little bathroom!"

    Al. Throw some scrollsaw magazines in your car to read. So when you are sitting in your car waiting while she goes in and looks through one more quilting store you just passed. Believe me, I know! Oh, and start building shelves to store boxes full of material and patterns. Believe me I know!!

    Thanks for the great info, I will cancel My dream of a handheld fret saw and stay with what I have. I get tired scrolling with a scrollsaw!

    You are busy. Best of luck in all your endeavors. Will be able to post some of the synchronized swimming. I find it fascinating.

    I would take samples/pictures of different types of things that can be done with a scroll saw: Fretwork, puzzles, intarsia, 3D, inlay, relief, etc. So they realize you can do wonderful things with a scroll saw. At the end of the class, I would highly recommend they join Scroll Saw Village. Prepare a handout that addresses this, plus where to get patterns, and supplies Print out some of the info from resources, on this site, like vendors and patterns sellers. Maybe Woodcraft may not like you listing any of their competitors. I would expect to see many more scrollers on the east side of this state!! I'm excited. If you happen to run across someone from my area, feel free to give me a contact, To help them in any way I can with their scrolling. I know no one from my area will travel to Spokane for a class, but just in case that miracle happens.. There is another gentleman on here from Spokane who makes hulls for RC hydroplane boats. He is not here often, but I think he still stops I once and a while.

    The only thing I could find through my store (have to be ordered) are by Columbia Forest Products, referred to as Purebond. 12" x 12"

    That is a great picture. Well done. You see very few pictures of a modern-day diesel engine. I do not know why.

    I use a flat edges x-actor blade to remove tape when I use tape.
