  1. Very nice-looking bowl.
  2. All of them look very well done.
  3. Going to be great looking. The pieces look like they are made of Marble.
  4. Proceed with caution. I do not believe his patterns are available anymore. I believe he passed away.
  5. Thank you very much. I understand now. Did you cut the ruler with your table saw blade?
  6. That should be even more effective that an apple for the teacher! Nice cutting.
  7. Really a beauty. Nice work.
  8. Clever and cute!
  9. Al, look back at when you first started scrolling and compare it to today's projects. You have come a long way in a short time. That is a great piece of scrolling you have done.
  10. I was watching one in my area, well, a couple of hundred miles from me. Never used late model Hawk 220vs, assembled, some parts still in the box. She was asking $800. listed for almost a year, I would have purchased it if I had had the money. It is no longer listed. I hope she sold it and did not get discouraged and take the listing down.
  11. I'm sorry, you what? Got a picture of your jig? It may help me. I have a spline jig that works fine. I also have a 45° cutting jig, but I have never been able to get it perfected.
  12. All said and done, like it or not, the DeWalt has the best resale value. I have seen some used sell for close to the new price. Nothing against the saw, I just do not get it.
  13. Where I live in the North West, now just an extension of California, you would be lucky to see it. There are many listed on the FB Market. Nothing wrong with your saw, just not many are interested in scrolling or scrolling products.
  14. Very well cut and finished. It looks like you have mastered the perfect 45° cut. I am still working on that.
  15. Great job! The little guy is going to be real excited about it!
  16. Another great learning thread! That is a very unique looking chess set. Thanks for taking us along on your build.
  17. Welcome back. Maybe consider looking at used saws. Might get a better saw for less. Don't mean that to sound like there is anything wrong with a DeWalt, but were I live there nice Hawk for less than a New DeWalt. My first DeWalt was a refurbished one, got it for like $289. Never had any problems with it.
  18. HEY! WAIT! I did make a few things I guess could be said were for celebrating.
  19. Nice! I love 3D cutting, when you break, (no should not have used "Break") separate the pieces and see the prize inside!
  20. Nice cutting!
  21. I got the new upgraded top clamp on. And I think the reason the upper arm would not go up when I released the blade was because the bolt that holds the arm was too tight. Took the arm off to replace the clamp, and he had two washers on one side of the bolt and one washer on the other. I think that allowed him to tighten the bolt too tightly. I looked at the Parts Diagram, and it only calls for one washer on each end of the bolt. Put it together that way, and the arm goes up like it should.
  22. I made my own router table out of an old kitchen cabinet.
  23. well flush!
  24. Just went and looked a mine, I'd say it is flush. It is the way it came. I have never adjusted it at all.
