    My Christmas cards for the immediate family are almost complete. I have to get some cardstock to glue to the back of each with a Christmas greeting, I am hoping my wife will write. No one could read my writing.

    What Kevin wrote works for me. And, patience and not forcing the cut helps, me and is something I have to work at doing. If, you can and have a long curve or straight line, switch to a bigger blade, easier to control, as long a wider kurf will not hurt.

    Great to read it is solved. I ran my excalibur in a stand I made from an old kitchen cabinet. It was bolted to the stand but it worked great for me for several years. The person the purchased the saw from me took the stand I made and as far as I know that is what he is using. So, if it were me I would bolt it to the bench and see how it performs before sinking money into a stand. For my Seyco, I did purchase the stand because the saw is integrated into it.

    My Lab (Ali) loves me as long as I throw the ball, but he would leave me in a minute if someone else threw it for him!

    Are you located in the USA? If so, maybe get a refund and order from Artcrafters in Tennessee. He is a pegas dealer, a member here and knows and uses a Pegas saw. AND very good to deal with. You should not have to adjust or fix one of those or other new saws.

    Welcome to the forum. I will let the people who have that type of saw give input on your problem. I have had two of that type, older Excalibur and a Seyco. But that was quite a few years ago. So I do not want to mislead you. As I recall you rotate the motor to adjust for vibration. But be patient, an owner of that type saw should speak up.

    I love them all. Like @don in brooklin on I have a couple of PHD intarsia pieces. They have been idle for a couple of years! I hope I still have all the pieces. I love cutting out the pieces, but the sanding seems to be where I get stuck!

    Beautiful Frank! Frank, although I very rarely do intarsia but I really appreciate your generosity in sharing your patterns. I have collected many of them, both intarsia and the non-intarsia ones, just because I have been thinking of doing some intarsia.

    Could be Baltic Birch, there are different grades of BB and I am finding it very hard to obtain the best grades anymore.
