  1. Back when I worked, we had to have a badge to get in the buildings and it had to be on us in view at all times. We had to walk up to the guard and he had to touch the badge before letting us pass. I got so used to having it hanging around my neck and holding it up for the guard that I would, without thinking, try to show it to the grocery clerk when I was checking out. They would always tell me I was not the only one who did that. When I quite work, the hardest thing to get used to was not having that badge on me. Those would have been popular even back then.
  2. That is really "Cool", Dick, as our grneration would say,,, "Cool man". Nice job, I always wanted to have a Bloodhound. But there are not many dogs I haven't wanted to have.

  8. Thanks, it is a free pattern, and not a real difficult cut, just a lot of them all very doable. I fact, I get to do it again this one is already spoken for. I look forward to cutting it again. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10238525246938035&set=pcb.5214927568731345

  13. Actually, I decided I like it best without any frame.
  14. That is a very pretty picture.
  15. Great save from the burn pile. Very well done
  16. Have this done except for the frame. I'm thinking I need to stain the frame a dark brown... What do you think? The picture is 17" x 12". 3/8" thick Butternut wood. It is beautiful wood and scrolls real nice. It is a Russ Beard pattern; he is one of my favorite pattern designers.
  17. Very nice scrolling.
  18. I have a couple different ones. Must admit the HF one is the one I use the most.

That is a great job! Cute little whatcmacallit?
  20. That is a very beautiful piece of art! Johnson Paste wax, that is what I use on all my tool table tops. Still using the same can I purchased 40 years ago. Did not know you could. still purchase it. Amazon, only $224 for 16oz cans!
  21. I tried to message them but could not see a way to add a picture to their message routine. Looked at my past orders on their site and did not tell me the species of wood just that I ordered and how much. I am pretty sure it is Butternut. They used to have a similar wood called Monkey Pod that looked somewhat like this but it was a darker wood. I have not seen it on their site for quite a while.
  22. Yes, that is really a nice one. Well done.
  23. Last year I purchased some wood from Ocooch Wood Products. I can not remember what species it is. I think Butternut but not sure. Any wood expert able to tell from my picture? It is beautiful wood.
  24. Great picture.
