Welcome to the village, Arthur. I have been scrolling for many years. Still have all my fingers. I did touch the blade once right after stopping it and got a tine burn blister! I think you will enjoy the hobby.
Deft has been my go to lacquer for a long time. It has been harder and harder to find in my area. I find I can save a couple to 5$ a can buy purching in a set of 6 or more cans. I order 6 cans the other day from Amazon. I ordered DEFT and received ProLuxe. It says same Deft formula new name. We shall see.
Back when I worked, we had to have a badge to get in the buildings and it had to be on us in view at all times. We had to walk up to the guard and he had to touch the badge before letting us pass. I got so used to having it hanging around my neck and holding it up for the guard that I would, without thinking, try to show it to the grocery clerk when I was checking out. They would always tell me I was not the only one who did that. When I quite work, the hardest thing to get used to was not having that badge on me. Those would have been popular even back then.
That is really "Cool", Dick, as our grneration would say,,, "Cool man". Nice job, I always wanted to have a Bloodhound. But there are not many dogs I haven't wanted to have.
Thanks, it is a free pattern, and not a real difficult cut, just a lot of them all very doable. I fact, I get to do it again this one is already spoken for. I look forward to cutting it again.
