  1. Great job.
  2. Very well done.
  3. Even a bigger "duh", I have, not just once but several times had the short blade scare only to find the quick release tension lever is in the tension position.... this usually happens after I have had a blade break and I am putting in a new blade.
  4. If it is as good as it looks, it is the best deal I have seen on a Hegner... Coarse it is 240 miles from me and my tool budget is broke, been tricking out my table saw to make it safer.... This is in Seattle, Wa. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/tls/d/seattle-hegner-scroll-saw/6905988372.html

  11. Where I live, my favorite thing in the related donut world is a maple bar. I thought, for many years the everyone knew about maple bars.. Then when my son joined the Navy and went to the east coast for flight school.... no maple bars... He emailed and asked us to send some maple bars.... No maple bars in the eastern part of the U.S.???? Where does maple syrup come from???
  12. Hummmm. A weed basket.... well very well done and it is beautiful.......dude..
  13. They are "donuts" on this side of the pond, we are lazy and use less letters.... We have all kinds with all sorts of things on and in them. I'll wait an let some police officer here give you critic on which are the best........
  14. Really well done. Someday when I am headed down that way, I'll have to stop and see it. Maybe you could add a sign, "Scrollsaw Village".
  15. Your are correct, Grizz. Over 300 days a year of sunshine In our part of the world. Although we went to Portland a little over a week ago and left the Tri-Cities, it was raining and had been for several days. Got to Portland and it was sunny and beautiful. That does not happen often to us. Usually the other way around. Glad you are back, I was starting to get worried.... Heppnerguy is coming in a couple weeks. Maybe we can work it so the three of us can get together....
  16. I hear you @octoolguy, where I live homes are still on the reasonable side, but quickly rising. Our daughter keeps bugging us to move somewhere closer to her. She lives in Portland, Ore. Prices in Portland are way, I mean, way out of our budget. The old home they bought 10 years ago for around $250K is now worth well over $500K. She keeps sending me realitor listings and none are even close to the house/land we have but priced far more then we could get for ours.... Then there is my son. Lives in Memphis, Tenn. Just bought a beautiful house almost twice a big as ours, brick, just a beautiful home on 2.7 acres with a nice fish pond. Less than $500K. And even more important, he talks to people about things he would like to do on the land and house, asks what permit, licenses, rules to follow, things to worry about and they look at him like "what are you talking about?,,,, it is your land and home do what you want..." Huh,,,??? not where I live. I have to get a permit to burn some weeds, or make a little shed... and I live out in the sticks.... big brother wants a piece of everything I do... I live in Washington. Oh my,,, you got me off in a tangent. Sorry... I will shut up.
  17. YYY-eee-s. I have seen it, but I am only a few years younger than you,,,, I can't remember where either!!! Ahh, the golden years..... they can have them..
