  1. That is very unique. I like what the lighting does to it.
  2. Very well done!
  3. Those really are great looking. A+
  4. Congrats! That is a great gift.
  5. Very nice! I love the cats... Great work.
  6. Great cuttings!
  7. Very cute. How could a Panda Bear not be cute?
  8. Just finshed mine today. I actually had this one set up and ready to cut last year,,, never got to it. This is a pattern that was in the Winter 2017 issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts magazine #69. designer Bruce Shea Cut in Cherry and star white rose wood.
  9. Could be they are made by that same company that makes the Flying Dutchman blades. They are made in Germany, and are sold under a few different names. Not many scroll saw blade maker out there.
  10. John, to get my flag photo that I used I just search 'American flag" and selected one from the images.
  11. I've been here long enough that when something like this in a thread doesn't work, I start checking dates of the thread. I tried to get to the site posted here three different ways before I thought maybe I had better check the date.... I was a slow learner, now I am old enough to forget most of what I did learned... You could still message Dave Monk and see if he still has the font. He would more than likely send it to you. He is a very nice guy.
  12. This posting is over a year old, maybe the site is not available anymore.
  13. https://www.amazon.com/Hoover-Commercial-CH32008-Canister-Vacuum/dp/B00SWGVICS Quieter than my Fein, and takes up less room. Important, to me, thing is I plug my saw into my Fein and the vac to my foot pedal, Starts the saw and vac when I step on the pedal, stops the saw when I take my foot off the pedal, and the vac quits 15 seconds later. Really a nice feature. I wonder if there is some way of setting that Hoover up to run that way. Some foot switches have two plug in, bet that would work.
  14. Your usual outstanding cutting, Jeff! Sad that Charles Dearing is not doing patterns anymore. Looks like he is selling hats and shirts now. You can get a few of his from Bear Woods. That Old Miner is awesome, I well be cutting it some time...
  15. Great scrolling work. Gotta love the kangaroos!
  16. Very nicely done, and that is a beautiful piece of wood. Looks great.
  17. Very nice. I can see they would be popular.
  18. Deciding on blades was the hardest part of scrolling for me. I ended up buying a verity pack of Flying Dutchman. Tried different sizes and tooth configurations out and that got me in the ball park of what I liked best. Several years later, I have some favorites, but I also like to buy different ones to try. Sometimes I end up with a new favorite.
  19. Very well done. You appear to have more flag showing than I did. I really like it.
  20. Dave, I really sorry this didn't work out for you. Maybe for the best, even if you got this fixed you would probably always be expecting something else to go wrong. Take the fun out of having it, for you.
  21. This is good to know. I am okay with my current set up, but I have to keep it in mind if I rearrange the shop or move to a new one.... The covers are long gone.... By the way @ScollSaw Slasher, glad you caught it in time... And thanks for the education.
  22. Ha, so that is what the covers were for that WERE on each of my mag lights!!! I thought they were dust covers you flip down to keep dust off the lens when not in use....... I removed them because they bothered me......
  23. BEAUTIFUL! Are you a man of few words? Nothing say about it. That's okay it speaks for itself. That is very neat!
  24. You didn't notice that bushy mustache under his nose... That makes a good dust collector.
