  1. You are going to have two very happy granddaughters. Very nice pieces! Yep, it is funny how different two kids from the same family can be.
  2. Great job!
  3. Welcome to the village. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
  4. Great job. Those are really nice. It would be hard for me to get in the mood to do Christmas things so early. Glad I don't have to make things to sell.
  5. Guess I will hold out until I win that $300 Gift Certificate from Bear Woods...
  6. I would have thought that large belt sander would work better than the disk sander. But I will go with what you say, being I have not done it with either. I would think this is another good application for the "drum sander". Is it not? There is also attaching sand paper to a very flat surface and hand sanding the two halves of the box. Well after reading the responses, I think this is what @munzieb is referring to. To me the safest way of doing it.
  7. This making it all very hard for me to resist! I just may have to get on the band wagon. If I were a saw manufacturer, I think I would make these clamps an option when buying a saw. After I had negotiated some kind of a deal with Pegas, if possible.
  8. Very well done!
  9. You did a very nice job on that box. I would think that would be a very popular one.
  10. Beautiful cross, well cut.
  11. Happen to me on the last one of Alex's bowls I cut. Made good fire starting wood.....
  12. Very well cut and displayed. Awesome work.
  13. I wood er would be happy with it also. I think you did a fine job..
  14. I join the "love it" group. Really a fine cutting.
  15. Very well done. You will get more requests from his friends for sure.
  16. That is great! Congratulations!!
  17. Very beautiful plaques.
  18. It is all relative,,,,next to mine, Les' shop is not a mess!!
  19. Translate: " Roger that. English language I don't know. So, unfortunately, I must leave your community. I wish you creative success" This is not right. It is too easy to get translation on the internet. I just searched "translate" and a site came up. I copied your text and pasted it in the translate box and it was immediately translated into English. I believe we have other non-English speaking members here, it is so easy to work around that, that all should be welcomed. Just my humble opinion.
  20. And, just what are you doing at Stewmac?? Maybe building a guitar?? I knew them well when I was into the cigarbox guitar building hobby. Great place to deal with.
  21. Yes, welcome to the Village. I think you will enjoy your stay. I look forward to seeing your work.
  22. Great cutting and story, thanks for sharing. In today's world that plane would be so stuffed with seats there would be no luxury to it!
  23. Marg, did you order from Wooden Teddy Bear because you wanted Flying Dutchman blades? If so, maybe give Bear Woods of Canada a try with their Niqua blades. From what I read they are the same blades, Mike used the name Flying Dutchman when he was sole distributor of them in the U.S. and Canada. That's what I read anyway,,,,
