  4. Thanks Jerry, I was thinking it would have to be a little music box one like one I used when I made a Winnie the Pooch music box for my grandson, but I do not know if they would be strong enough. Didn't someone on here build ..... just searched it, @EarltheScroller did and I think he must have use these plans as a guide... if you look at the base fretwork and the middle. He hasn't been here in a while (January). Any one know his status?
  5. Guess I should has stated in the original post, it is a $30. pattern! That is mainly why I would want to know more about requirements before ordering it. https://cherrytreetoys.com/carousel-plan/
  6. Just wondering if anyone made this challenging project before. Looks like it would keep a person busy for sometime. If someone has, I would like to know where the mechanical parts might be found. I would also like to know how the animals are made to go up and down. I wish Cherrytree gave more detail. It is an expensive plan, and I would think more info would be provided to help a person make a decision about attempting it. Guess I will contact them if I get more serious about it, not like I don't already have enough project in backlog.....

  19. Tony, to late to worry about now, but could you put a different kind of screw in the bottom clamp that would not allow you to so easily over tighten it? Smaller knob or something. I have owned an Excalibur, and Seyco and never had a problem over tightening the clamps, but I have read of the problem several times.
  20. I agree that is a great pattern. I have not seen it before. You really did a nice job with scrolling, finishing and frame it. Top notch.
