  2. Thanks Jerry, I was thinking it would have to be a little music box one like one I used when I made a Winnie the Pooch music box for my grandson, but I do not know if they would be strong enough. Didn't someone on here build ..... just searched it, @EarltheScroller did and I think he must have use these plans as a guide... if you look at the base fretwork and the middle. He hasn't been here in a while (January). Any one know his status?
  3. Guess I should has stated in the original post, it is a $30. pattern! That is mainly why I would want to know more about requirements before ordering it. https://cherrytreetoys.com/carousel-plan/
  4. Just wondering if anyone made this challenging project before. Looks like it would keep a person busy for sometime. If someone has, I would like to know where the mechanical parts might be found. I would also like to know how the animals are made to go up and down. I wish Cherrytree gave more detail. It is an expensive plan, and I would think more info would be provided to help a person make a decision about attempting it. Guess I will contact them if I get more serious about it, not like I don't already have enough project in backlog.....

  17. Tony, to late to worry about now, but could you put a different kind of screw in the bottom clamp that would not allow you to so easily over tighten it? Smaller knob or something. I have owned an Excalibur, and Seyco and never had a problem over tightening the clamps, but I have read of the problem several times.
  18. I agree that is a great pattern. I have not seen it before. You really did a nice job with scrolling, finishing and frame it. Top notch.

  22. That us a great pattern, you did a fine job. I have it started, the face done, but I have to give up the detail stuff for a while. I have cataracts and can't see the fine stuff real well anymore. Hoping to get it fix pretty soon.
  23. Hummm could not get to your Etsy site with that link or the one on your old site. Never mind I did once I put ua instead of usa at the end....duh! Wait where are the patterns?? All I see is jewelry
